World leaders urge restraint after deadly Middle East flare-up

Tensions are so high in this part of the world, and emotions run so high all over the world do to the universal hatred of Israel in most EU nations, how can one not atleast consider the fact this could start WWIII???

I think the stakes are too high for an outright WORLD war, but this is not good.
Who's fault is it?
Is it terrorists fault for kidnapping soldiers?
Israel's fault for seeking revenge?
Well, one thing is for sure, we see ONCE AGAIN what happens when you give into terrorists...

Israel is 100% in the right here. If they are to be blamed for anything, it is giving land won in war back, removing settlers, and returning hundreds of prisoners for dead bodies of soldiers when this has happened before. Rewarding terrorism only encourages it, something the Israeli left is learning the hard way.

This is so depressing. It is irritating to see nations like Greece and Russia condemning Israel. What are they supposed to do? Hezbollah attacked Israel. They killed and kidnapped Israeli troops.

What is their grievance? That the world starting paying attention to their Iranian funders' nukes? That Israel left Lebanon and Gaza; taking away the excuse for the economic problems and lack of basic services in Gaza and the West Bank?

People moan that Americans endorse Democracy then complain when Hamas wins an election. This is untrue. Hamas upon winning the Palestinian election, and Hezbollah by entering the Lebanese government, earned a clean slate and a golden opportunity. Both threw it away when they chose to attack. That is when they became a problem to the U.S.

It just too bad that when this war ends, groups like Hamas and Hezbollah will have another grievance to use as a distraction for their inability to provide for their own people.

Lets just hope this ends soon.

Israel did the correct thing by giving up a little land, and autonomy to the Palestinians. Now, they can point and say, "See, its not going to work." Business is about to begin, gentlemen...

Israel now has the right to kick them all out and take over the entire area...
