``We have to go back to 1974 (during Watergate) to find such a favorable environment,'' says James Carville, who ran Bill Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign. ``If we can't win in this environment, we have to question the whole premise of the party.''
Dem's should pick up seats in both, but what is considered a WIN?
Do they have to take control of BOTH houses?
Just one?
If you notice they have finally done the one thing that they can do to win, and that is....SHUT UP.
If they don't remind people how far Left they are as a party, they might pull it off. People, for better or worse, want a change. When Dem's open their mouth, they remind people the DNC does not think like the average American.
I think the Dem's will pick up seats in both the house and senate, and not take over either, signaling a HUGE failure for them...and they will come out that night and the next morning and say that they won...no matter what happens.

I hope they don't "pick up" anything. Of course I hope I win the lottery and we all know the chances of that happening.
They would consider a win picking up just one seat in either house...
They'd consider a win picking their noses. Anywhere they lose, they'll cry fraud and demand voting reforms.
Paving the way for the ascendance of the true moderate party, Libertarian!
