High School Football

One of the best football games I have seen in awhile happened at South Stadium Friday night between Wilmot and Bay View.
You can not get more excitement out of a football game when you go to a high school game.
Bay View won 29-22
Lenier Johnson for Bay View had 319 yards rushing and 4 TD's.
Bay View took a safety with about a minute ten left to play. Wilmot couldn't get it done.
Great game...and it would have cost you a very reasonable 3 dollars. No T.O. complaining, nobody sitting out, just good old football. When you pay a hundred bucks to watch the packers lose by 30, tell me what the better value is....

Here's one thing I envy you on. Last year our high school varsity team lost every game by an average score of about 42-3.

But the marching band and cheerleaders were great!

Scorpion says---
GAME-you are absolutely correct!
Football for the sake of the game of football.Finish the game and get
ready for the real world. The chain crew and their captain are flat out better than anything you see on the sidelines at pro football
entertainment. WWE/PFE-pretty much
the same form of entertainment,
Divas or cheerleaders,your choice.

When the family and I seek respite, we go up to Sister Bay to the family cabin. Whilst there, during football season, we watch local news (which means the UP, Green Bay,etc.) at I marvel at just how many high school games they report on. They highlight at least a dozen on film, and then scores for what seems like every freakin school in the state. But it's cool. It seems like America. Corny, but that's what it feels like.

don't let the liberals read that...you just be a racist to suggest that football is "american"
what about soccer, basketball...how dare you try and define what is and is not american!!!
(I don't mean a word of this obviously)
