Nagin shows what a loser he is: AGAIN

New Orleans Mayor Takes Swipe At NYC
Nagin Cites Failure To Rebuild Ground Zero While Defending Katrina Clean-Up

(CBS) Confronted by accusations that he's taking too long to clean up his city after Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin defended himself by remarking on New York City's failure to rebuild Ground Zero. Nagin made the remarks in an interview conducted by CBS News National Correspondent Byron Pitts which will be broadcast on 60 Minutes, Sunday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. EDT. On a tour of the decimated Ninth Ward, Nagin tells Pitts the city has removed most of the debris from public property and it's mainly private land that's still affected, areas that can't be cleaned without the owners' permission. But when Pitts points to flood-damaged cars in the street and a house washed partially into the street, the mayor shoots back. "That's alright. You guys in New York can't get a hole in the ground fixed and it's five years later. So let's be fair."

Negin shows again how he is probably the worst mayor in the United States. He is the "chocolate city" mayor, the mayor who left the busses to flood, the mayor who runs a city that is out of control.
Add in the equally incompetent Democratic Gov. of Louisiana, and you have inefficiency at its worst.
Next door, where the damage was worse, and Republicans are in charge, things are getting put back together just fine.
Is this a coincidence?
Is it just dumb luck that the worst mayor and governor in the country are Dem's?
Are they to blame?
Or should we blame Bush?
Well, that is what they did, the liberal way. Blame someone else for their problems. Next door, they did it the conservative way, and things are getting back to normal much quicker than in New Orleans.

Well, Florida has had to deal with Wilma, Dennis, Jeanne, Ivan, Frances, and Charley since 2004. There's no evidence of Jeb or George Bush screwing over minorities there.

I think our liberal friends know deep down that Katrina was the result of corruption and incompetence in Louisiana, which only equals that of New Jersey, another Democrat state.

Or perhaps the demoralizing entrance of another conservative heavy-hitter (Marshall) has sent the libs fleeing in retreat.

atleast they are smart enough to shut up SOMETIMES when they are on the wrong side of an issue...or in this case, their party.
