Video recap of the last year of Katrina

Take the time to watch this, it is perfectly done.
It shows over and over the incompetence of the worst mayor in the United States, the chocolate mayor, the flooded bus mayor, the mayor who's city is still in ruins. I know you liberals wished it was GWB, but if you do not place a great deal of blame on Nagin and Blanco, then I guess you can not be intellectually honest, you are simply a political hack.
That is not all the video shows...take a look.
Here are some links to stories related to Katrina...

Ray Nagin Memorial Bus Pool
Private vs. public: Katrina
Robinson: They’re eating corpses!
Kanye West: Bush digger
Aaron Broussard’s crocodile tears
Nagin: Choco city * No-show * Hole

sorry Ron, after the fourth paragraph of hearing uncle tom and a bunch of other poorly written racist crap I couldn't continue, what is the point of the link?
Ray Nagin is a Dem, the gov. is a Dem, and it has been shown how poorly they run govt...then look over to the east and see how republicans run things...
I understand Ron, when you watch a video that gives proof of how terrible this dem is, I wouldn't have anything to say either

Of course the locals deserve a lot of blame for being ill-prepared. But that in no way let's FEMA, DHS, the Corps of Engineers and their boss off the hook.

If you haven't seen it, watch at least the first 2 hours of When the Levees Broke on HBO. There's plenty of blame to go around.

never said otherwise...but I think a lot of blame goes to locals, and NOW, a vast majority does...

I think this:

I have never been one to put down Nagin, nor praise him. I do think that New Orleans in general should have been more prepared for Katrina; at the least, everyone should have been put on mandatory evacuation, and it should have been taken care of long beforehand. Why it wasn't, is a lot of people's blame -- I'm not ready to blame Nagin solely for anything yet, other than one thing...

I saw a Dateline or 20/20 or something the other night (sorry, I watch t.v. very little), interviewing Nagin, saying that he's getting huge amounts of money to put things in the city back together from Katrina, hinting that he's using the money in the poor areas, to rebuild them as high-rises and rich areas, pushing out the poor people in order to make more money. If this is true, then I myself have very little respect for him.

Come to think about it, I think that this is the interview I saw -- a lot of the questions are the same as what I saw.

Hope I'm making sense --
