Early day at the Fair:
I had to start working at 10am because Raven was scheduled to come on at 2pm.
It rained from the time I got there til 1pm
Oh, and if you get the chance, mix a Benno's wine cooler with a mike's...ummmm good...
Review of Grandstand show:
A young crowd of 6,000 fans of the Disney channel (or their parents) were in attendance this afternoon. Little J opened and tried to get the crowd to yell and scream for 30 minutes. He just rapped with the record...not much to it. He did walk around the crowd, little girls going crazy.
Raven put on a very well produced show. Dancing was well done, crowd loved it. She is very professional. She did a meet and greet with about 50 people before the show, even though she looked very tired and like she did not want to be there when no one was in the room, when the kids came in, it was show time. Kids were screaming, crying, and very excited.
The problem we had was that Raven wanted everyone to run up to the stage. Well, some did, and many did not, leaving many moms who paid good money to sit close unable to see the show. Eventually we decided to over turn Raven's call, and things were much better after that.

Scorpion says---
The show was still the product of
the wishes and desires of the Fair
director, who had his own agenda and own motives during the show. It
was a good try by the way later.
