Wisconsin State Fair Day 5: Monday August 7th

Went into the fair for an hour or two today. My wife wanted to watch the racing pigs, we looked at more baby animals in the birthing barn, then ate a cream puff, turkey leg, chive fries and just a little more fried cheese from the Wisconsin Cheese booth. Ahhhh....the food at the fair is second to none.

Wisconsin State Fair classic is over:
Every year my dad, brother, a friend and myself play eachother in a dart tournament. My bother and father destroyed Rob and myself in quick fashion. The tournament is over, score 2-0. Better luck next year.

Grandstand Review:
The Wisconsin State Fair Church of God was open for business last night as Michael W. Smith played the part of the choir director. Even though most of you never heard any of his songs, the music is actually good. Its a pop/rock mix, sounds nice, enjoyable to listen to. The 6500 church-goers were entertained, even though there was little jumping around and screaming like at other shows. An easy night for the security, which is a good thing since Trace Adkins will have a much more rowdy and drunk crowd on Tuesday.

Preview for Tuesday, August 8th At the Miller Lite Main Stage

FM106 Country Fest with Trace Adkins, Chris Cagle and Eric Church 8pm

Other highlights:
Comedy Sports 430 and 545. Summerfest used to have them twice a day, but they would rather have people buy $10 martini's. Luckily the Wisconsin State Fair has stepped up and brought them in. They are very funny, take this rare opportunity to see them for free.
