All the plots that the Bush Admin. has stopped

The Dems are up in arms everytime they find out a way Bush is keeping us from getting blown up.
Remember everyone, with liberals in charge there would be nothing that a lawyer didn't like...you could argue that all these things would have happened if Gore or Kerry were President:

- In 2002, officials disrupted a plot by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the suspected mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, to crash hijacked airplanes into targets on the U.S. West Coast.
-In mid-2004, officials discovered a plan to bomb urban targets in the United Kingdom.
-Terrorists involved in a well-advanced plot to attack targets in Karachi, Pakistan, were detained in the spring of 2003.

-A plan to use hijacked commercial airplanes to attack London's Heathrow Airport was disrupted in 2003.
-A plot to attack ships in the Persian Gulf was foiled in late 2002 and early 2003.
-One of the plotters involved in the plan to attack ships in the Gulf was also part of a foiled plot to attack ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
-After a plan to blow up tall buildings in the U.S. was disrupted, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed said he directed his operatives to attack the buildings because they were too tall for victims to jump out of, ensuring they would die by smoke inhalation.

-In early 2004, a captured al-Qaida facilitator revealed a plan to send suicide truck bombers into Camp Lemonier, a Marine Corps base in the African nation of Djibouti. This information caused security at the base to be enhanced.
- In his speech, Bush said Mohammed and a terrorist named Yazid provided vital information on al-Qaida's efforts to obtain biological weapons that allowed officials to capture two other terrorists involved in producing anthrax for al-Qaida.

During the 90's they carried out many plots against the US...
Let the govt do its job...lawyers stay out of it....listen to my damn phone if you have to...I have nothing to hide...I'd rather not get blown up.

Dude, there is always going to be stopped plots. We understand that. Did you actually listen or watch the interview? His exact quote was, "To crash planes into buildings on the West Coast or somewhere in the US(!)

Why does he have to be such an idiot? Everytime he makes these statements to get people off his back, he says something SO profoundly dumb, that nobody takes him seriously. He looks like a liar, or that he's hiding something.

Which makes you a coward, a fascist appeaser, willing constitutional violator hence a hate america person. This is the stuff that makes me sick and fearful for our country. You shame the name of American..I wont be checking back for your response so type away,,,you are wasting your time.

I wasted part of my life reading your crap...thanks.
Ron makes no sense again, maybe he talked like this on his radio show and that is why it is gone now

They often say they're leaving, but then return. I prefer that. I'd certainly like to hear an explanation how supporting the admin's intelligence gathering techniques makes one a coward, fascist appeaser, constitutional violator, (jeez, where's that living document now?) or a hate America person. I'd also like to hear what sacrifices or actions would some of these guys make in order to fight off the Islamofascist terrorists. Is there anything at all?

Everytime one of you Cons criticizes someone for exercising their constitutional rights, which happens often about several rights, then you are an America hater. Now, thats my opinion, and its backed up by reasoning and the official governmental contract. I never read anything saying that bending over and accepting anything from the gov't was being an American. If you read between the lines, thats what Cons express.

If you read between the lines, you'll generally find space. Every time a conservative criticizes someone for exercising their constitutional rights, we're exercising ours. When we criticize, it's because the target of our criticism has said something stupid or false in our opinion or our knowledge of the facts. When we do, we're accused of stomping on rights, which is a lame way to respond to a rebuttal. If you can shut someone up by claiming that someone is trampling rights, then you don't have to exert the effort of supporting your position. It's also the best tactic when there IS no support for a position.

That last was mine. I don't know why it came up anonymous.

Because if you can't fight under the Constitution of the USA or without violating it, then yes, you are a coward. You've turned your back on everything American, and on every principle America was founded on -- thus are treasonous and hateful of America in general.

Look at gang-bangers, who think they're so big & bad, but in actuality, they're cowards. They are nothing doing things the legal way. They have to do things illegally. This is what Ron is saying, and if you can't see it, then you need to take another serious look, and do some serious soul-searching. I would think that you'd know what he's saying already, but then I forget that we're talking to young pups here who have had no proper rearing or idea of real morals and ethics, or true patriotism, or respect for the law & the way things work (and are supposed to) in America.

And game, just because what someone says goes over your shallow head, doesn't mean they're not making sense.

Here's another way: So much for so-called "intelligence"

We never get the truth on it anyway.

Ron is also saying that if you're too much of a coward to die for your country when it's time to stand up to the injustice in it, you r a chicken-sh*.

BTW: Who was it again that said we have nothing to fear but fear itself?

Oh yeah. Seems you pussies fear way too much.

You're confusing fear with preparedness. Is it fear that we have a military at all? Actually, yes it is. But is it just an irrational fear, or a fear based on experience that drives our efforts to prepare? That, I guess, is the debate, but I side with the latter. Kind of a bein' safe rather than sorry thing.

And you continue to act as if the questions regarding Constitutional violations are settled. They are not. Not in the minds of many. If a few lib judges or justices say one thing, does it mean the same as if God said it? Not at all. Yet, we're expected to submit in such a way. There is much that is assumed about the techniques that Bush wishes to use that is based on that irrational kind of fear that says he's up to no good. That's not only a stupid fear, but a lie, as there's nothing to support such an allegation.
