Bill Clinton Blames Others For 911
What do you think about what Clinton said. Even though I think he is full of crap, its so easy to agree with him. Wish Bush had Clinton's ability to spin things.

Man, as I watched this again, he is really worried about this.
He should be.
Clinton is flat out rude.
Clinton rude? It starts with Chris Wallace being rude. This is the former president of the United States. So how does he pose the question?
"Why didn’t you do more to put bin Laden and Al Qaida out of business when you were president?" What kind of a question is that?
He could have asked, "Did you do enough?" or "Could you have done more?" or "What would you have done differently?"
Instead he asks an accusatory question of the former president. What did Wallace expect him to say? "Because I was more interested in getting my dick sucked."?
Clinton was absolutely right. The Cole happened in October of 2000, only 3 months before Bush took office. What did Bush do about the Cole in the 8 months before 9/11?
Clinton is also right: Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, and Hadley have been interviewed on Fox by Wallace and Snow a total of 42 times. Not once was any of them asked why they didn't respond to the attack on the Cole. They never asked why Richard Clarke, the most experienced counter-terrorism expert in four administrations, was demoted. They never asked "Why didn't you react to the August 6th Presidential Daily Brief?"
If you think Clinton was rude to defend himself against a hit question like that, then you simply reinforce what we all know. You hate Clinton more than anything in the world. You moan and groan about Bush haters while you hypocritically bash Clinton for anything and everything he did or didn't do.
It also reinforces the fact that you are continually trying to find someone to blame besides Bush for the mess that we are in after six years in office. The COB (Cult Of Bush) believes Bush is inerrant.
Actually, I think its a legitimate question. I also think he answered it as best as was possible. Hindsight makes us all a bit more aggressive or defensive. I think that 'worry' that game mentions is him really upset that OBL wasnt such a big target on the radar, and he could have prevented so much tragedy had anyone known then.
What made him mad is he was told it would be an interview about his global intitative and maybe about hillary running. Right out of the gate they go to this. Typical Faux news hit. I have read about many people that went on fox that were given the same treatment. Bait and switch. Too bad for them he was ready for them.
I disagree. Clinton agreed to 1/2 on his Global Initiative and 1/2 on anything else. The SUBJECT of terrorism and his record was perfectly legitimate. I have no problem with it, and I don't think Clinton would have had a problem with it had it not started with the second question being a flat out accusation:
"Why didn't you do more?" Would Wallace have asked that question of Bush about pre-9/11? Hell no!
I have offered an alternate version of the question that would be respectful and legitimate. "Why didn't you do more?" A horse shit question. An obvious attempt to satisfy the COB and Clinton haters' thirst for bashing Clinton.
The problems is that ANY journalist worth a damn would ask him those questions, maybe in a different form like Jim suggests...but when you don't see ANY questions like that by others, it shows their bias. Wallace was just asking the obvious
Yes, they would. And if they were worth a damn, they would also ask those questions of Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Hadley, and Bush.
But neither Wallace nor Snow has, and that reveals them to be simply partisans.
Man, as I watched this again, he is really worried about this.
He should be.
Actually, he is a pathological narcissist
Teenagers make bad presidents.
"Teenagers make bad presidents."
Thankfully, morons make interesting blog comments, though. I smell one narcissist here, and it isnt Clinton.
Ok Jim, maybe, not what I heard. Regardless you are right it is ok to ask questions. Should be mandatory of all to ask the tough questions of all political leaders. Next question. When Bush blew his top at the press conference(like a narssistic teenager) why was there no uprising and condemnation? Double standards are the forest around here.
You've got that right, Ron. Bush went off like a mad man, crazed and angry. He's obviously scared that people might think he deserves some blame for getting us into the mess we are in in the middle east.
I love how Jim, Ron and Jay always say it is the right wingers who follow in line and say whatever Rush and Sean say...but you guys can't come to say anything bad about Clinton, ever. I bet you were defending him while he was lying under oath too...
Back on point...he looked crazy, never seen a former President talk like that, but, we have never had someone who cared so little about the office either
Game, how is it that you can apparently write, but you can't read?
We have all been critical of Clinton. I'm extremely angry and critical of him for getting caught in a perjury trap. I wish he'd done more to combat terror.
And you know what? I've said that all here before. I've written today that criticism of Clinton and his record on terrorism is legitimate as long as it's fair.
So you either can't, don't or won't read. You will simply continue to spew your Clinton hate and your Democratic hate. That's all you know and it's all you've got.
Clinton didn't look crazy. That's your Clinton hate sputum. He looked angry and determined and he had every justification for being angry.
Bush was no less crazy looking when he was pressed at his recent press conferences.
Your Clinton hate is all you've got.
Pity.
The Clintonistas will defend Clinton to the last Soros dollar.
You Democrats do not know what respect and precedent are. You have regularly disrespected Republican Presidents in and out of office since Clinton was a corrupt Arkansas governor running for a bigger opportunity to shake down the country.
Bill had 8 years do do what you boobs claim Bush should have done with an obstructionist Congress blocking and delaying his every move. Clinton was not so frustrated, but you hacks can't see or acknowledge that.
Thankfully, morons make interesting blog comments, though. I smell one narcissist here, and it isnt Clinton.
Settle down, little girl.
See, even morons can play the ad hominem game.
Flake.
I smell one narcissist here, and it isnt Clinton.
Yeah, and the stench is pretty raunchy, too.
