Do you think this is how most people elected to public office act?

I would like to believe that most of them are good, since we only hear stories about his every now and then,
but I do wonder how many do not get caught...
What does this story make you think of your elected officials?

This is why I do not trust politicians. Any kind, any party, any time.
What's particularly disturbing, is it says here:

I'm 51 Dedanna. What has age got to do with judgement. That's not to say that I don't keep my eyes and ears open, but on the whole, I've got no business assuming anything about anyone. What should I assume about you? Would you not prefer that I just treat you as I would have others treat me, until such time that you prove yourself unworthy? To assume the worst of someone based on their chosen profession is just another form of bigotry (thieves, hit men and pimps excluded). When YOU get older, you'll find it exhausting to live your life suspicious of everyone.
Nah, as a matter of fact it's saved me from a LOT of bullshit.
& I'm not so far off you age-wise.
