House passes voter ID bill

Thank you!!!
So, this week the Right has talked about voter ID bills...why would ANYONE oppose those?
And border security...
I'm going to have a big party in November to celebrate the utter failure of the Left...I can't wait.

Scorpion say---
This proves there are times intelligence, common sense, and the
ability to do the right thing does
actually still take place. And don't worry about us legal senior
citizens getting there to vote.As it has been stated many times before,we would get to the voting place somehow to cast our legal vote.Still, why is this such a problem to be cried about?

Because it's easier to commit voter fraud without folks having to identify themselves. This will cause all sorts of problems in Chicago politics. Next thing you know, they'll be insisting on one vote per person. Sheesh!

Please cite the statistics of massive voter ID fraud.

has been done many, many, many times....

Jim said...

No it hasn't. It's been claimed, never any statistics provided to prove it.

The Game said...

how about 10,000 more votes than voters???
How about cigs for votes
How about picking up people in the inner city at 7 in busses and giving them money to vote for people who have not voted...
I'm sure you don't care about any of that however

Jim, take your head out of the local Democrat HQ. The Democrats in King County, Washington were CONVICTED of Vote Fraud. They stuffed the ballot box to get their Democrat Attorney General elected Governor. The Judge did not overturn the fraudulent election. He didn't have the cajones to do it.

Didn't the Milwaukee Journal or Wisconsin State Journal carry an article about a man convicted of voting both in Chicago and Wisconsin? Another Democrat "spreading his wealth".

In Iowa Chet Culver is deathly scared of voter id. The urban Demorat strongholds may collapse if people were limited to only one vote in only one precinct in the same election.

I know Jim and other Democrats are wed to stuffing the ballot box when they object to requiring the same identification requirements to vote as to write a check. Geez, what a bunch of lying, cheating, hate filled losers!

10,000 more votes than voters? Happened in Ohio, but you said that was tinfoil conspiracy talk. Besides how does more votes than voters track back to voter ID? Surely you have voter lists that people have to be listed on and checked off. If you have more votes than voters, that's a systematic problem (like electronic voting machines), not an ID problem.

Cigarettes for votes? What does that have to do with anything? Are the cigarette recipients legal voters?

I've said this many times. You obviously have a broken system in your state. In California, we don't. You register with your signature. When you vote, you sign and your signature is compared. Simple and no picture ID required.

Again you have proven nothing but that you can complain about YOUR OWN broken system.

pcd, you have no clue about me or what I'm wed to. I'm for honest, fair, non-electric voting machine elections. I don't condone it but both sides have cheated since voting was invented. Anybody who thinks differently is either naive or lacks a full deck.

PCD said...

Jim, you lack a full deck and are a dishonest Democrat to boot. Stop repeating Democrat lies you hypocrite.

Jim,

Does one need to show proof of citizenship before their signature is affixed to the first document? If not, matching signatures are insufficient to insure the signer is American. I believe the ID proposal would include providing for citizenship before and ID is issued. I could be wrong here, but if not, then this legislation takes care of two problems, that being non-Americans voting and the voter being who he says he is. Voting is and important duty and privelege. I don't see the problem in exacting a little effort out of the electorate to insure a smooth system. Objections against voter IDs are lame as well as suspicious.

In my state you must provide a picture ID to register to vote. You must also state that you are a US citizen under penalty of perjury. You may be asked to show your ID at the polling place.

In my state, there does not seem to be an issue about voter ID. What there IS an issue with is when the Speaker of the House of Representatives swears in a Republic before the votes have been fully counted and the election certified. This is voter disenfranchisement. See CA-50 special election.

It would be interesting to see a study comparing the number of proveable instances of voter ID fraud versus the number of people who have been illegally disenfranchised by lack of sufficient number of voting machines or illegally being stricken from voter rolls.

I'm with everybody but pcd because he/she cant seem to do anything but spew and obviously is more interested in hating Democrats than anything else.
I think we should have voter id. It is not that hard to do especially if you allow the state to pay for it if someone doesn;t have a DL etc. I am also against electronic voting machines. Waaay to much room for "error" as has already been proven over and over.

Jim said...

BTW Marshall. Voting is not a privelege. It is a right.

PCD said...

Jim and Ron,

Stuffing the ballot box is not a Democrat right as you two seem to think. Hey, Ron, you want union goons in the voting booth to help voters vote like in Las Vegas? Or like my friend Mike Kilo over at Right Voices, so called voting official walks into the booth with him an pulls the lever for straight Democrat ticket when that is not what he wanted to vote.

Ron said...

pcd I am for voter Id and paper ballots...Honest elections. I dont want anybody cheating. I just can't find your spew reputable because you because you are so consumed with hating democrats that would take the counter position no matter what it was or what was right..er correct. Your further posting after I noted all the above in my previous point proves that.

PCD said...

Ron, you are a Democrat Hack. You can't face the truth about how dirty and cheating the Democrats are. You call the sweetheart deal the Milwaukee DA gave the Tire Slashing 5 because Gwen Moore's son was involved fair?

Again, not knowing who the fuck you're talking to, or what's what.

Get a life pcd. You severely need to do something other than blog.
