Mark Green

I am not sure I can vote for Mark Green.
Yesterday he said that he wants teachers to be paid based on their "performance"
What does that mean?
Does that mean that I get paid less because I teach kids that come to me with a 4th grade reading level in HS, and a teacher who teachers at Arrowhead and has a class full of students going to college gets paid more? If that did happen, you would see MPS turn into a complete mess....even more than now.
And Green wants to continue the destruction of MPS by making sure every single good student no longer attends. I have told story after story showing how many choice schools are scams. In fact, I am very confident in saying WELL over 50% are scams. Schools with no book or very few. Kids sleeping, coming to school when they please and passing....and lots and lots of movies. Also, most schools have few or NO certified teachers. But lets give these schools more money, then fooled parents send their kids to these "better" schools leaving MPS to teach to bottom of the barrel (then get yelled at because test scores don't go up).
Yes, Doyle is pathetic, and he sells out teachers every chance he gets, but how can I vote for someone who directly affects my job....that is what I do 40-50 hours a week.
