Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., warned Democratic activists Sunday that the party must take a tougher stance on national security if it wants to succeed in the November elections.
"What Democrats have to do is to close the deal," said Obama, the keynote speaker at Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin's 29th annual steak fry. "We have got to show we have a serious agenda for change."
Translation from DNC BS to English: "We need to take that dance to the right...make everyone forget that we are whimpy liberals and pretend we are more conservative."

Democrats need to read Sam Harris, a socially liberal atheist like myself who sees the danger Islamofascism presents.

First off: "Steak Fry"??? Who the hell fries steaks??? Right there, just for that, I have one more reason to be suspicious of Dems.
Secondly; "We have got to show we have a serious agenda for change." You have to come up with an agenda first. Don't have to worry about changing Bush, as he end of his second term will take care of that. Sadly, many Dem voters rally behind empty slogans such as the above, as if it is in itself an agenda.
