When was the one time in history that the stock market didn't gain ground....
1965 to 1983....thats when the hippies were in full force destroying the country.
You can see that Reagan got us out of that liberal/hippie failure.

before hippies start yelling...yes, there were times it went up and down, but it is easy to see that being the only time in history that we didn't make improvement...after loss we have always recovered, even after 9-11

Well, yeah, there was a lot of that going on, too.
65-83 is not when hippies were in power. They were teens and twentysomethings at that time.The people born in the 30s and 40s were of the age to run things then. They are only in the past decade or so becoming old enough to have power. as Jim said you are really reaching on this. Way flakey.
