GOP Leaders Seek Probe of Berger Papers

It's story really gets me mad.
Republican leaders want to walk around and not do a damn thing about this story or really any corruption for over a year, and now, because they are going to lose in November....now they are finally going to do what they are supposed to do.

You should have stopped worrying what liberals and the biased media would have said back then...you are paying the price for being afraid of your own shadow.

Democrats are better at being slimy politicians, and now they are going to win, plain and simple.

It almost makes me madder that they are doing this now than not at all. By doing this now, they are admitting it is a problem, but didn't see a reason to go after Sandy for stuffing classified documents in his pants a year ago.

Game,

Your link states that they held off per a request by the Justice Dept. Now with the initial investigation complete, Congress should have an easier time of it. At least one would think so. Keep in mind, with all the crap thrown around about how the GOP handles everything these days, it's probably better that they get their ducks in a row before going to town. Botton line is, they're doing it. And that's a good thing.

I think it is ridiculous that our elected "representatives" don't ever listen to us, but now they are telling us, "If you don't vote, the Democrats will be in control."

How about "If you don't do what the people who elected you to do, then you're out of a job"???

I'm tired of electing people who don't care what we want. They aren't going to win my votes by election season stunts.

Thank you lady jane. Precisely my point -- and it's on both sides of the coin.

Hmmm, let's see. The Republics won't investigate anybody in the Bush administration, but they'll investigate someone who has already plead quilty and been sentenced.

Lady Jane,

I don't mind "throwing the bums out". What I mind is letting worse bums take their place. If better people weren't supported in the primaries, then we have what's left. (Frankly, what's left is worse than whoever is there on the right.) To allow the the worse bums (Dems) take power because you voted for them, or didn't vote for Republicans, is NOT teaching anyone anything the outweighs the harm it will bring to US!

BTW. Do you actually contact your elected representatives to tell them what you thing? Do you do it often? Do you encourage your friends to? Do you pay any attention to the new kids on the block who wish to get your vote and question them? It's hard with a job and family to really be involved, but some contact is essential and we all need to make time to do more of it. They will respond in kind to massive amounts of emails, letters and phone calls. Wouldn't you?
