I guess I am writing this for my conservative readers...
I watched a Pelosi talk on 20/20....I honestly thought I was watching someone who was insane...
Some of it was what she said, which is completely super ultra liberal insane...
But I'm just talking about watching HER, the way she talked, her mouth, her eyes, she looked like a crazy person...
Anyone else see that interview or see her talk in another interview and think the same thing...
I mean, we could destroy her super-ultra liberal voting record, but that would be too easy...

I saw Pelosi on 60 Minutes last night. I though Leslie Stahl was doing a hit piece on her when she started out. However, Pelosi was awesome. Assured, smart, in control, reasonable, and in tune with middle America.
You see her as insane because you see her through the eyes or someone with an irrational hatred and fear of anybody left of Rick Santorum.
Try to destroy her. More Americans share her values than share Bush's.
Insert conservative for liberal, and its the exact same statement you could make about Coulter. Does that make it easier to understand?

rhyno...I do understand...and I said it had NOTHING to do with WHAT she said, I was simply pointing out HOW she looked...she simply looked like a crazy woman to me...
You walk down the list for us Jim, and show us which bills she's backed or fought against that shows she's in tune with Middle America. San Francisco might share her values, but Middle America doesn't. Unless you meant the Middle America in your parallel universe. We see her as insane because she's an extreme lefty chucklehead who's on the wrong side of almost every major issue. It's the same kind of insanity one finds in those who thinks she's in tune with Middle America.

I lived in CA for 6 years. Pelosi is insane as is Boxer and many of the other Democrats in Leadership there.
I am sure that's very true...it was just watching her for 8 minutes

According to a USA Today/Gallup poll, Iraq is the single most powerful issue shaping the public mood - and its findings are not in the Republicans' favour.
A record 35% say the war is going badly for the US, with 58% saying the invasion of Iraq was a mistake. The poll shows that more than three out of four of those holding that view are supporting the Democrats for Congress.

According to these, she agrees with the majority of Americans polled recently, and this was before this poll today even came out.
To back up those polls I mentioned earlier...
I'd say that the Dems aren't so "guarded". There's no real reason to be.

The Guardian is the most Left wing of the British papers. They are so far left that they don't even try to hide behind any "We're objective" type of statement.
Again the poll that counts is coming up.
