McGee recall drive launched

AWESOME
Someone in Milwaukee has a brain...
Let's see if enough people in Milwaukee do...
Michael McGee/Jackson has got to be the worst public official in the history of Milwaukee...
He acts exactly like all the people I see who never graduate from high school, the people blaming everyone else for their problems, the people putting a drain on society

Scorpion says---
He will be out in the district
"soliciting" support to keep his job-and-if he is recalled--he certainly will not go away quietly.

This is awesome, game? Recalling a vote on someone you don't like or want in office? Man, if that's how you want 2008 to go, you got problems. When there's a recall, that means there's a chance the person you don't want who was miscounted will stay in office.

Of course, there's a chance also that they won't be, but do you like running that risk?

I've found that it's better to let the person ride out their time in office, so the next vote-in can undo their work. True, they do their damage in the meantime, but the time goes by faster than you think.

Duh. Geez.

this guy has been a public menace and a bad role model to african american youth for years...I am just glad finally SOMEONE is standing up and saying it

Then say it, stand up against it, but don't give the S.O.B. a chance to stay in office! Geez!

I don't think this allows him to stay in office longer..he is still up for election in 2008 I think...I see nothing wrong with getting him out early

But a recall doesn't guarantee that someone is out of office -- it gives them a chance to stay in as well -- 50-50. If this is the aim, to get him out of office, then do something that will do just that.
