Borot dishonest?

There are two stories out about the makers of "Borot" saying they lied to actors about the true nature of the film:

Borat film 'tricked' poor village actors
and
Frat members sue Borat

Should he be able to be sued?

Some people can't take a joke.

Meanwhile, people are getting awards for making movies about the assassination of President Bush.

Of course he should be able to be sued. A judge will determine if any suit has merit. Nobody, especially the asbestos industry and the gun manufacturing industry, should be immune from lawsuits.

"Should he be able to be sued?"

despite the creative syntax (what is that, the super-subjuctive tense?), of course. will he be? unlikely. certainly not successfully. only top actor's receive a clause in their contacts that gives the say over the content of the film. those yokels should have read their contracts.

More to the point, who cares?

I guess the makers need to circle the wagons. Their film has been declared politically incorrect, by those that know "what's for the best".

This suit is just the beginning.

Jim,

When are Democrats like you going to be sued?
