I'll be honest, I'm sure not everything that the panel suggested is practical or even needed.
But we had years of Dem's running their mouths saying how incompetent Republicans are...I am hoping Republicans show the class and intelligence that the emotional, say anything to get elected Democrats didn't.

The Dems don’t need to implement any suggestions from the 9/11 panel. Since they’re now in charge of congress they’ll simply ask the terrorist… er I mean the victims, forgiveness for our crimes against them and humanity and all will be hunky-dory.
Well, we may need to compensate them for their pain and suffering. By golly, I know, we’ll just raise taxes on the greedy/rich. Then you better believe all will be like the land of milk and honey, buddy!
