Democrats will protect law-breakers

A Mississippi Democrat in line to become chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee has warned the nation's largest uniform supplier it faces criminal charges if it follows a White House proposal to recheck workers with mismatched Social Security numbers and fire those who cannot resolve the discrepancy in 60 days.
Rep. Bennie Thompson said in a letter to Cintas Corp. it could be charged with "illegal activities in violation of state and federal law" if any of its 32,000 employees are terminated because they gave incorrect Social Security numbers to be hired.
"I am deeply troubled by Cintas' recent policy change regarding the Social Security Administration's 'no match' letters," Mr. Thompson said in the Nov. 2 letter. "It is my understanding that hundreds of Cintas' immigrant workers have received these letters. I am extremely concerned about any potentially discriminatory actions targeting this community."

They protect criminals all the time, but lets just focus on this ONE act of sticking up for illegals....cause you know damn well that is who is being targeted here.
Why do we need to keep putting up with people who can not do things correctly?
We can't have voter ID because people are too stupid, lazy or irresponsible to have an ID...
We can't force people to have correct SS numbers...
We can't expect people to work or take care of their kids, so schools are now the new parents...

With liberals, it will NEVER end. Someone is always the victim, it is always someone else's fault. The bad guy in this story is the company trying to follow the law, not the people breaking the law....its backwards, as is liberal thinking.

You seem surprised.

They should be fired. The LAW says that employers are supposed to get a copy of their original social security cards upon hiring an employee. If the employer didn't do it, it's their loss.

Dedanna,

What about this idiot who is making the threats to the company to protect the illegals?

Is this what we have to look forward to from Democrat lawmakers and Democrat appointed judges?

It would come down to it with either party eventually. It's why I don't vote Dem/Repub -- they're pretty much the same any more.

NOW, with saying that, if the Repubs had gotten up off their asses and passed a real immigration bill when they had the chance, one that works, then the illegals wouldn't be there for anyone to try to protect now, would they?

That immigration bill they passed sucked -- but it would have no matter who was in office at the time. It's the way the world's going. Not just the way a party or two in a country is going -- that's small fry compared to what's really going on with this.

Screw this guy. I don't support mr thompson on this or his trying to turn it into a racial issue. This is a law to protect the american worker. As one, I kinda like it.
I took so long to comment on this because I saw the title and decided it would be a waste of time to even read it. This democrat and many others do not support breaking this law and I can promise you that those who do will eventually pay a price. No from democrats or republicans but from Americans.
