Sounds like the same dilemma the Bush administration had when it took office. It was beholden to it constituents, the wealthy (tax cuts), the drug companies (medicare drugs with no price negotiations), Social Security privatization (didn't get that), federal abortion ban (not so far), flag burning amendment (not again!), drilling in ANWAR (not yet), and the potential for billions in war profiteering (Iraq invasion).
Got to at least TRY to keep the "customer" satisfied.

Why are you for Soc.Sec. as it is? Are you just an undelcared socialist? SS is a ponzi scheme. If ANYONE else tried it, you'd have big time arrests.

Also, those of you who have a problem with any "privatizing" must be socialists who hate private property and private property rights.
