Conservatives, liberal media bias should upset you.
You read stories like this and simply say, "Ya, we all know what would have happened if a conservative did this."
Then you shrug your shoulders and go on to the next thing.
But this matters. This kind of stuff done over and over again creates a false sense of reality for the average American.
Why do liberals get to say racist things (Dean, Clinton "jokes"), but when Republicans might have meant something from a comment made, then they are strung up?
When a Democrat is involved in shady deals, it is either not reported, or it is the back page story and forgotten about in two days (unless bloggers and talk radio get mad enough). When a Republican is even accused of anything, it is front page news for days, sometimes even weeks.
You understand that makes elections an uphill battle for Republicans. If they are not far superior to their Democratic counterpart, they lose. The average person doesn't have time or doesn't want to have time to dig into these stories. They don't know that the media is selective in its story telling. They think they get the whole truth, and nothing but the truth from the media.
"Big" media is dying, I hope it happens sooner than later. (I love throwing the word "big" infront of things like the liberals do with oil, tobacco and corporations.)

If you think that is big media bias, wait until Comrade Pelosi is praised for putting Alcee Hastings on the House Select Committee on Intelligence.
In a sense, I hope the Dems do this, since it turns the tables on what they're saying about corruption. We make our corrupt people from Delay to Nixon to Foley resign -- why don't Democrats get the same standard? On the other hand, I hope they don't, because it is bad for the country, and most of the big media will carry water for them.

Studds has sex with a minor and gets re-elected over and over, Foley talks to kids and is made out to be Hitler...
There is a double standard, and its the only reason the Dems can EVER win...with an even playing field they still would have not won this November considering many of the races were won by less than 2%
Yep the media is so biased that you think geo hasnt violated the constitution in any way. saddam was responsible for 9/11. and a few thousand terrorists are about to bring down the greatest country on the planet....just to name a few. They get away with so much..i'm with you, down with big media.
