I will put up all posts which discuss the election and candidates.
Here is a general opinion on voting on Tuesday.
Some conservatives are upset that Republicans are not conservative enough.
This is probably true.
Some conservatives are upset that Republicans did not get enough done while they had so much power.
This is probably true.
The answer to that is to vote these people out in the primary races of 2008, not Tuesday.
Are Democrats going to be more conservative than the Republican?
It would be silly to let a Dem get into office if you have conservative values.
If Dem's gain power:
1. No more fence keeping out illegals.
2. If you make any money at all, your taxes will be raised, and a mini to full recession will begin.
3. Congress will waste its time "investigating" the President
4. We will look weak to terrorist and the rest of the world as Democrats try to get us to run away from Iraq. This is the most important point. Terrorist watched how Clinton did nothing for 8 years and planned 9-11 based on their new perception of the USA. For a short time, terrorist have believed what the USA said because we actually did something about terrorism after 9-11. Dem's in power might be as serious as causing a nuclear war in the next 20 years.
5. You will have people in charge like Pelosi who is as liberal as they come. You want a San Fransisco liberal being your leader in the House?
6. You validate the crazy liberal comments made by Dean, Kerry, Murtha, and others. Dean said GWB was the worst President in his lifetime the other day. I guess he was born after 1976. Anyone who doesn't see Carter as maybe the worst President in the history of the United States has no clue at all.
Think about these things before you vote Tuesday...and make sure everyone you know understands what is at stake as well.

Well put, Game. I'm ready to roll; hopefully the evangelicals show up.
It looks like you need to break out the pooper scooper and clean out some spam in the meantime.
The Dems, especially Jay, Jim, and Rhyno, have nothing but lies to pedal in this election.

All the while pcd peddles stupidity. Firstly, by declaring me a Democrat. Moron. Second, by never having the common sense to shut up. In doing so, perhaps the bridle of idiocy could eventually be lifted. As they say, "better to remain silent and thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt."
Oh, and it boggles my mind how stupid Cons are when they badmouth Carter. He implemented just about everything they scream for....fiscal responsibility, energy supervision, creating the Rapid Defense Forces, full trade and diplomatic 'normalization' with China, and reinstated the draft registration. Plus, all the diplomatic and humanitarian work left the nation stronger when he left. Now, to all the fools who claim he was innefectual about the Iran hostages, you really are the most ignorant. Carter allowed the Shah to come to the US for medical treatment, and the students captured the embassy in Iran. They said Carter should turn over the Shah, and Carter told them to fuck off. Then, he seized billions in Iranian assets, and told them they wouldnt get their money back until the hostages were freed. The Shah died in the summer, and both sides returned to discuss the situation. The Iranians no longer cared, since the Shah was dead, and said they only wanted their cash back. They even let half the hostages go as a sign of good faith. See, Cons forget that part all the time. They agreed, in principle to returning the rest of the hostages once the money was back. At this point, the banks lawyers took over negotiations, and took til January to get everything ready. They then presented it to Reagan, who signed the law to release the money, and the hostages came back.

Thank you rhyno. It so refreshing to hear a good word about Carter. He may not have been the greatest president in history, but as long as history remembers the name of George W. Bush, Carter will NEVER be regarded as the worst president in US history.
I don't understand how adults can live in such an incorrect world...there is just nothing else to say...
Some things are just no brainers...
Rhyno,
Aside from disagreeing with our opinion and supporting your guy Jimmah, what makes your sources so perfectly objective exactly?
rhyno,
take your own advice, FOOL!
Carter presided over double-digit unemployment, inflation, and interest rates. There was a gasoline shortage, and the morale of our armed forces were also at its lowest in probably the history of our country. Hell the moral of our country was pretty damn low, our enemies were emboldened, and the left loved him! About the only good thing you can say about Carter is it seems he means well.
Then along came Regan. Now there was a president! I remember the left claiming he would go down as the worst president in history. I remember the vitriol spewed by the left, the press, and Hollywood towards Regan on a daily basis (sound familiar?). Well, history proved them wrong.
Marshall, I would have to be as stupid as pcd to rant and rave about faulty Con sources, and raise that much hell....to then go ahead and use crap evidence, myself. If Cons would quit their education bashing and have the balls to actually think for themselves(plenty of libs, included), they wouldnt find themselves on the opposite side of reason and need a faulty Faux News organization to uphold their distorted world view.
Oh, and blamin, Reagan was far from the best president we had. The Pub party had fallen far from the Party of Lincoln to a doddering old fool and tough-talking jingoist whose only military qualifications during WWII or Korea were that he made a couple war movies. Lets not forget that Carter inherited the rising unemployment and gas crisis, shall we?
rhyno
Do you mean the way Bush inherited a recession? You see, the difference is Bush was able to turn the economy around, it only got worse, much worse under Carter.
So the best you can do is call Regan a few names? Your rapier like wit is truly frightening.
Scorpion says---
"Jumbled" Jimmy Carter(there is
more than one in this mindset)was
easily the worst President in my
lifetime.Yet,he continues to speak
out to remind us of his shortcomings.Still, another great reminder to be sure and get out and
vote on Tuesday.
reagan won 49 of 50 states both times...rhyno and others who think is was not a good president show how far to the left and out of the mainstream their thinking is...
rhyno,
It's not unreasonable for PCD to believe you’re a democrat. Your views I’ve seen on this blog suggest you’re not a conservative or a libertarian.
What do you consider yourself? A greenie, socialist, anarchist, nihilist, communist, independent/backboneless?
From the evidence, my guess would be “Clueless”.
he claims to be libertarian...but you are correct...he mostly sides with liberals...as do most libertarians...but there are times he does find a bit of common sense...unlike liberals like Jim, Ron and Jay who ALWAYS follow the dem playbook
let me take that back...sometimes ron does not..jim and jay are the ones who follow whatever the DNC talking points are and NEVER say ANYTHING bad about a liberal
A true Libertarian would never support Carter, he's one of the lefts biggest champions of nanny state-ism.
that is very, very true
Rhyno is a flaming socialist. Everyone knows it.
Game said "jim and jay are the ones who follow whatever the DNC talking points are and NEVER say ANYTHING bad about a liberal".
This is, of course, a lie. I know I have criticized Clinton and Kerry here and elsewhere. And why am I required to criticize liberals anyway? You do enough gratuitous liberal bashing for the entire Right.
Which conservatives have you criticized?
Rhyno,
Your really haven't answered my question. How are your sources objective? What makes them so? Are the authors hard core Christian conservatives? Are there hard core Christian conservatives as well as flaming liberals who consider those sources fair and balanced? It's a sincere question and a fair one considering your accusation against our sources. Plus, I'm always up for another impartial source.
