Scorpion says---
My "old" snowblower still works
hard-although much slower than in years past. My red shovel still can
help do the job,as old snowblowers go.Is winter over yet? Now it can get to be wet, sloppy, and slushy for almost a whole extra month.

We're still freezing our butts in NM.

Lots of black ice, lots of semi-truck wrecks.

Where abouts in NM, Dedanna.? The wife, daughter and I spent a week in Cerillos, half-way between Sante Fe and Albequerque last year. Loved it. Could be a retirement destination. Met a Midwesterner who lives in Albequerque who said the winters aren't too bad even in the higher elevations. Of course he's comparing to Chicago and Milwaukee.
So what's "freezing butts" mean in more technical terms?

Alamogordo, NM, no snow, no ice currently 55 degrees which is a tad below normal.:-)

Marshall, you would be quite at home in SE nm. 70+ percent republican and red as a monkeys ass. The area you are speaking of is much more center or in your terms of speaking...left.

I could tell that by the bumper stickers. In fact, I don't think "center" is where they're at. But it sure is nice country. In fact, they could use a staunch conservative like me to help straighten them out!

Being a Stallis native, I can tell you that we use the 12 inches to cool our kegs.

Marshall, that's the problem here. Lots of country, and nothing with it.

Retire in FL or Hawaii. It's MUCH better. At least there's *something* there. I hate this place.

I'd be willing to tell you where I am in email, but not right out in public.

Oh yeah, and let's not forget New Mexico's mexican invasion -- I've never seen it so bad as I do here.
