Which cell phone company do you have?
What is your opinion of the service?
What consumer reports says:
Here are some of the comments from Consumer Reports about large wireless carriers:
Verizon: Consistently a top performer in this years survey and in our earlier ones.
T-Mobile: A solid performer but marred by lack of service in some places.
Cingular: Middling to low levels of consumer satisfaction.
Sprint: One of the poor performers in terms of overall satisfaction.

I can't boot the link to the story for some reason.
I'm on Alltel. I like it other than they have changed on txt msging to charging for both incoming and outgoing msgs, and their method of downloading games, etc. -- you have to download a program in order to download the games, wallpapers, etc. Doesn't make sense.
We’ve got two cell phones we leave in the car for emergencies only (Nextel – good service and signal, the few times we’ve used it).
I refuse to be hooked up/wired in 24 – 7. When you call in sick, there’s nothing worse than having your boss call right when you’re reeling a 21-pound striped bass into the boat.
I don't own a cellphone. Nobody would ever call me anyway..been the nasty person I am.
blamin..love your2nd paragraph..truth brother!:-)
Scorpion says---
No cell phone.Verizon is my wife's carrier.Verizon has been consistent and generally good.
I have us cellular...it seems to be one of the only ones that work in my office when I need it.
I had T mobile...best nation wide plans...liked it when I lived in Hawaii and went back and forth from WI and HI...no roaming minutes...
Got rid of it cause it didn't work well by my house, but no cell phone company does for some reason...
I just switched from Cingular to Verizon a few days ago.
Why did I switch? I had pretty good service for three years, and then Cingular decided upgrade their system, which meant I couldn't receive inbound calls. They did this without notifying me. Then they wouldn't give me a free $30 phone to upgrade me and keep me a Cingular customer, though they we willing to give me a free month of service. (How stupid is that?) On top of it, they wanted me to sign another two year contract.
I was disgusted. Most of my family has Verizon, and they had no complaints, so if I was going to jump through all of the hoops Cingular was making, I might as well sign up with Verizon.
So I did.
I hate to admit it but cell phones scare me, and I still don't own up.
I am so 1991.
I left Cingular a few years ago b/c their customer service blows. Sprint's been okay; when I complained that their 'free upgrade' cost me $30, they waived the charge.

Speaking of cell phone use, a study has concluded that there is no link between cell phone use & cancer, as previously thought there was.
