Obviously this proves that only illegal aliens shoot police officers and only illegal aliens kill people while driving drunk.
It's too bad the government is spending hundreds of billions of dollars in Iraq, hundreds of billions of dollars for subsidies to oil companies, and hundreds of billions of dollars in tax breaks but doesn't have the money to enforce immigration laws.

The Right is too scared to take this issue on as well, but Jim's asshole answer shows he either doesn't understand what a problem it is, or just doesn't care...
So Jim, the fact that someone other than an illegal immigrant might shoot a cop means that I can't report the story...can't give stats that show that they commit WAY more crime than legal citizens?

Thanks for the wonderful name-calling, game. Really makes you look brilliant and strong in your "arguement."
We all know that there are illegal immigrants in this country. We all know that it is a problem. We all know that they commit crimes. We all know that THIS is a problem. This is not news.
Your post appears to have no point. It says something we all know is true and we all know is a problem. Why do you continue to BEAT IT TO DEATH and then blame Democrats on something for which BOTH PARTIES ARE TO BLAME.
Nobody who can wants to solve this problem. The status quo is less of a burden than a comprehensive solution and the rabid on both sides refuse to compromise.
Therefore, the best remaining solution is enforcement of existing laws. You need the money and the government infrastructure to be able to effectively enforce the law. Unfortunately, conservatives believe in little or no government, and while they have been in power they have proved that they cannot run something they don't believe in. They want to starve the government to death, but they end up starving the parts of government we really need while spending 50% of the worlds defense spending, giving breaks to big oil, and tax breaks.
That IS focussing on your post. I care about the issue, and I fully understand it, and notice that I have not called YOU any names or impugned your mental status.
All I hear from YOU is bitching about the same stuff over and over without acknowledging the complexities of the issues.
And then of course you want to blame the whole thing on liberals because they do.
Game I agree that the illegal immigrant problem is a giant one. You and I have much in common on this. I want it fixed as bad as you do. I must part company when you take the tack(normal right wing)of villianizing a whole group of people for the actions of some. We have crime occuring in all races and creeds. I wish you could keep this discussion on a rational level. It is far easier for me to find common ground when you do.
