More than 100,000 undocumented women each year bear children in California with expenses paid by Medi-Cal, according to state reports.
Such births and related expenses account for more than $400 million of the nearly $1 billion that the program spends annually on health care for illegal immigrants in California, the Los Angeles Times reported, citing state reports.
Just making sure you understand what is going to happen to the entire country if we don't get this under control. I don't think we ever will, and eventually our health care system, education system, and social welfare system will completely collapse...
How long will that take...who knows?

Didn't read the post. Just wanted to wish you, Game, and all of your visitors the Merriest of Christmases.
Game,
What do you expect when a Liberal Democrat state Buraucracy does all it can to promote "anchor babies"?
This one really hacks me off. I'd hate to threaten the physical welfare of a pregnant woman, but there has to be malice aforethought in the lion's share of these cases. Still, they're pregnant women about to give birth to a totally unconsulted individual in the process. They are using their soon-to-be-born as props in a scam. Even if they truly don't think so. So to just throw 'em in a truck and ship 'em back is too harsh a roll of the dice for the kids. The only thing to do is place them under some kind of house arrest or something so that they can't leave and garnish their wages or the wages of a certified husband until the medical bills are paid off, or as close as possible. If the entire debt is not repaid, at least some of it is. The word would spread and the cost of such strategies would be cost prohibitive for others to add to their risk of invading. Keeping tabs on them would reveal other illegal associates at times, and those may be some we can immediately expel from the country. Of those we expel, we keep all their possessions aside from about a months worth of cash to secure a position back home. Hey, this could work.
