Saddam Hussein's Baath party threatens to retaliate if their leader is executed

Well, I guess that means we should let him go and drop all charges...
Oh wait, I must have turned into a liberal for a minute...
What we should do is sit down and talk to these leaders and see what it will take to make them like us...
Damn, did it again.
Correct response, do what the Iraqi people demand, and carry out justice.

A few Democrats have told me that the best policy for Iraq right now is to put Saddam back in power, since our invasion is illegitimate and Saddam is the legitimate ruler of Iraq.

Fortunately the Dem leadership isn't as stupid as the common Democrat.

Moral relativism has completely erased the difference between a liberal democracy and a tyranny in the eyes of many people. Saddam started a war with Iran that ended up killing 1,500,000 people, he killed 300,000 of his own people, and tried to take Kuwait. This guy was a mad dog, and in retrospect, getting rid of him was probably better than the "realist" approach of sending him weapons for the sake of "stability."

Saddam tells Iraqis not to hate. All he's doing is telling the Kurds and Shia not to take revenge on his Sunnis for all the blood criames they have committed during Saddam's reign.
