Small Nuclear War Would Cause Global Environmental Catastrophe

This article makes up a good point.
We have liberals and environmentalist wachos running around complaining about people driving SUV's and at the same time, want the United States to let a country like Iran develop nuclear weapons...
Which causes more "global warming"....nuclear weapons.....cars....not sure

I know, liberals will say that nobody WANTS Iran to have nuclear weapons...but your actions, the political pressure, the theories about human beings and terrorist...this is what will cause a nuclear war....and then you will really have some "global warming"

The future looks good for fascism and bad for democracy. Bush has gone soft on mad dictators, and the confused Democrats, well, they think supporting liberal democracy is fascism.

Hopefully we'll survive long enough to see President Giuliani. He'll talk to the revolutionary Islamists, and make them an offer they can't refuse.

This is nothing new. We've known this since the 50s.

"[Democrats] think supporting liberal democracy is facism." What a foolish statement!

You really think Giuliani will make it through the primaries? Interesting.

Jim--

Giuliani is holding all of the cards at the moment.

Giuliani has the bio working for him-- stopping the mob and showing unNaginlike leadership on 911. Who doesn't relish making the Democrats defend having diplomacy with terrorist regimes in the context of 911?

Giuliani has been fiercely loyal to the Republican Party, can raise a ton of money, has a decade of experience getting Macaca-ed by the New York Slimes everyday and knows how to deal with it, and will give Republicans what they want on judges, prosperity, and security.

Giuliani's leading the polls, and most of the alternatives are either unviable or McCain. With Duncan Hunter one gets pork barrel and appeasement. Sam Brownback offers amnesty and appeasement. Hagel prefers outright surrender. Gingrich is intelligent but has a sinister name. McCain, while strong on most defense matters, is disloyal to the party and can't be trusted to deliver once in office. Tancredo is a protectionist who entertains the genocide of Muslims. Romney has to deal with his Mormonism, which a lot of people find not much different than scientology.

So I'd say Giuliani has the best chance of winning right now, followed by Romney. McCain's numbers will drop like Lieberman's did in 2004. Giuliani in contrast makes Republicans feel good about themselves, so his numbers will rise. We're one judge away from overturning a lot of nonsense, so I doubt social conservatives will throw away decades of hard work at the last minute for the sake of authenticity. Hell, Reagan was an FDR-Democrat for most of his life, was divorced, and came from Hollyweird, and he did okay.
