Passenger Awarded $400,000 In Racial Profiling Case

Is this a fair punishment for American Airlines?
I say way too high.
This is the type of liberal PC, ACLU mentality that got us 9-11.
I'd rather have a few mistakes made on the cautious side then let terrorists blow up planes or buildings.

Only if you're Polish, James.

We keep hearing the word "sacrifice" thrown back and forth these days. Well here's a little sacrifice for the dude in the article. I have a friend who, to me, does not look Arab at all. Yet due to his appearance, small pony tail, constant 5:00 shadow, he's always asked to step aside for a more detailed search and quick Q&A. Quite the pain in the ass and I've seen this happen when I flew with him. We had a layover and it happened twice going and once coming home. He just shrugs. Of course that's different from being prohibited, but the point is, no matter what the airlines or travel people do, I doubt that it will be fool proof and someone will have to deal with the wrongful delays. Thank you Islamoassholes.

I think people who look Norwegian and Japanese should be profiled for the cause of social justice and the common good.

Jason,

Ja, put Jan Egeland, the UN official who called the US stingy through racial profiling at the airports. Its better treatment than he got in Darfur. They tried to kill him there.
