This is what happens when you have incompetent racists running a major city. This shows how WRONG the people who blamed GWB for the Katrina mess really were. The "blame-white-people-and-have-someone-else-take-care-of-us" liberals are not capable of running anything....

The last quote places the blame on the educational system. But improving that will only get you literate thugs. I'm of the opinion that after about thirty or so years, removing religion from schools and the public square has been a major factor in the moral decay in our country. God has been removed and nothing has been put into place that has adequately replaced Him. The real surprise is that it isn't worse than it is.

They can teach character all they want. What good is character to a true atheist? Character would be something the weaker atheists would support. It would have no purpose to the strong and cocky atheist who wants it all and isn't afraid to do what he has to to get it. Without God, character changes to meet the need of the individual. That's where everyone would have their own personal versions of "My Truth", which is spineless-speak meaning, "It's too hard to abide natural and traditional laws of conduct, so I'll make up my own and say it's just as good."
