Pelosi Falls Short On Election Promises

I could have written this story BEFORE the election...
Here is one of my favorite lines:
Pelosi vowed that five-day workweeks would be a hallmark of a harder-working Democratic majority. So far, the House has logged only one. Lawmakers plan to clock three days this week.

Once again the meat of the article you link to belies your headline. Pelosi and Reid are sticking to their schedule. The other members of Congress, Republics and Democrats, are balking.

do you ever puke from all the spinning you do Jim?

No just the spin I read. :-)

Jim, are you trying to put Case out of business. You are such a manure spreader that Case can't possibly manufacture a machine that can spread more manure any faster than you do.

Hey, what about this being the most ethical Congress ever? How can Pelosi square putting William "Cold Cash in the Freezer" Jefferson on the Homeland Security committee? Like how much are secrets selling on the open market?

WOW what a headliner. It certainly couldn't be anything I haven't heard before out of anyone, and certainly would be surprising. *smirk*
