The McGee’s chime in today by claiming that this is all over blown, Michael McGee Sr. said that at Packers and Brewers games, 50 to 60 people get arrested each week… “But they ain’t black,” Alderman McGee adds.
But in my search of the news, it seems that the most I can find is a reference to a story out of Minnesota that claims that a Vikings vs. Packers game at Lambeau set a record with 16 arrests. There was also a mention at PackersNews.com of a 12 arrest day being a busy day for Lambeau Field. compare Lambeau’s 60,000 seat capasity and this basketball game with only 1,100…
As for the arrests during the Brewers games, the first game at Miller Park, with the huge crowd they had and all of the extra things that go on at the first game of the year, not to mention the opening of a new stadium, there were only 11 arrests among the 41,544 fans.
So yes Mr. McGee, this was a big deal.
Listen to the McGee’s claims of the coverage being overblown because of the race of those involved.
This is a PERFECT example of why things are the way they are in the inner city, why things may NEVER get better. Theses are the "leaders" of the black community.
