Sirius to buy XM in $4.6 billion stock deal

It was obvious that these two companies could not BOTH exist.
The question is, can this NEW company exist?
I don't see the need for this.
Eventually people will be able to buy something that does EVERYTHING. ONE device that is a camera, a phone, a radio, a TV, ect...
It is just about happening already...
Plus, with HD radio, there just doesn't seem to be a need for satellite radio.

I'll take a sec to shamelessly promote my new political blog, ChicagoCon.

I'm back, and I'm here to stay.
