Video: Hillary wants to take oil profits and put them in “strategic energy fund”

So Hillary wants to take profits away from a company and use the money for what she sees fit.
At least she is being open about her marxist and communist philosophy.

You gotta love the Newspeak.

Just like surrender is called strategic redeployment, stealing from your richers is now called investing in a strategic energy fund.

Why the word choice? Why not say vote for me, I'm sticking it to the man? The language reflects the liberal self-perception. Liberals love the word strategic, because they are liberals and by definition smart. Fund is in there too, because liberals want to invest in our coming socialist future, ahem, the children. And energy, because we know free enterprise doesn't create it, but only government bureaucracies concerned for the common good.

The sheer unmitigated arrogance of Hillary to imagine that she can demand from private corporations any sum whatsoever speaks volumes about her lack of understanding of what it means to be an American. Far better, and more palatable by just about anyone who doesn't suffer from envy and greed, would be mere suggestion or encouragement to private industry as to other ideas for their wealth, with the knowledge that it is ultimately for them to decide.

I can say all kinds of things if I'm moved. How's this:

I disagree with Clinton on this. The oil companies are making obscene profits, but it is not the place of the government to take those profits. It could, however, start making them pay a fair royalty for use of public lands and stop giving them subsidies. Then place the royalty money in a strategic energy fund.

Also, what's with the "lockbox" comment in the article? Is that supposed to be some reference to Al Gore? Gore wanted to put the Social Security Trust Fund in a "lockbox" to keep the government from stealing it. Seems he was quite prophetic since Bush and the Republic congress borrowed and spent over a trillion dollars of it on non-Social Security spending.

Finally, I already commented on Jason's usual faux-intellectual drivel bashing liberals without reason or basis.

Jason says he used to be a Democrat. I think a Democratic girlfriend dumped him really, really hard, because he bashes Democrats and liberals without logic but with the passion of someone suffereing from a broken love affair.
