Its just a fun story...some highlights:
"A year ago my approval rating was in the 30s, my nominee for the Supreme Court had just withdrawn, and my vice president had shot someone," President Bush said Wednesday night during the annual gathering.
"Ah," he said, "those were the good ol' days."
"and I'd like to thank Senator Webb for providing security."
Virginia's Democratic senator, Jim Webb, had to explain this week why an aide was carrying a loaded handgun as he tried to enter a Capitol complex building.
Looking ahead to life after leaving the White House, Bush said he might follow President Clinton's lead and produce a memoir.
"I'm thinking of something really fun and creative for mine," he said. "You know, maybe a pop-up book."

The libs just can't be honest about their opposition's mental abilities. I'm beginning to believe that when they start desparaging someone's mantal ability, they are just projecting their own handicaps.
I remember when Bush was making fun of himself at a Catholic charity fundraiser with Hillary, Russert, Gore and the rest in the crowd.
Michael Moore had the nerve to put this in Fahrenheit 911, as if Bush was raising money from his base.
But don't you dare call Michael Moore a lying douchebag who uses tactics that make Coulter look like an angel. It is all for the common good!
Alas,
Jason, how many do you think believed they were "seeing the real thing"?
There was a time in this country, when critical thinking was required of our young. That's been totally thrown out the door in favor of sound-bite imagery.
The youngsters of today are unequiped/unprepared to make ratioanl decisions about anything.

We can go see Buffoon Bill at the Riverside Theater at the end of April. Tickets are listed in the entertainment section this morning.
I wonder if he's the opening act for Bill Engvall or Ron White.
