This is obvious to anyone living in the real world.
The only ones who don't already understand this are the liars who say that all immigrants want is to come to the US to work...

I have a step-daughter who works in management in a retail store in Green Bay. She just showed me a counterfeit $5 an illegal tried passing. You can add passing phoney money to the list of crimes illegals pull and don't believe that they are wrong for doing so.
Why do we need a study to prove this? Remember, every step in their journey involves breaking the law. Illegal border crossing, using fake SSN, finding employment without any legal documents, not paying the tax....list goes on.
Naturally, this was probably funded by tax dollars. :(
Ethnicity doesn't really matter. Whoever breaks the law should be face the consequence.
I think she meant that people coming from South America will be breaking the law much more than someone from Europe...but you are correct as well
Not so sure. Is there any study to prove this? If we take the percentage (not just the numbers), there is a good chance that you may not see any difference among different ethnicities at all. I know there are many russian and east european illegal immigrants engaged in credt card, real estate fraud and prostitution rings.
The closest I can come right now, is this. And that's not saying much. It's a slanted source.
There's also this, but damn, there's so much to go thru there it's unreal.
Illegal Aliens in Federal, State, and ocal Criminal Justice Systems
4. What types of illegal aliens are in the criminal justice system? What are their characteristics?
* In 1995, California accounted for more illegal aliens sentenced in federal courts than any other state, 31 percent of the total. Texas had the next highest number of illegal aliens, 18 percent; together these two states accounted for about half of the illegal aliens sentenced. Other states with large number of illegal aliens sentenced were New York, Arizona, Florida, Oregon, and Washington.
* Mexicans made up the largest share of illegal aliens sentenced in federal court. The second largest group was Colombians, followed by Dominicans, Jamaicans, and Nigerians. Mexicans dominated in most of the major immigration states, but Colombians were the largest group in New York, Florida, and New Jersey.
* Major offenses among illegal aliens differed significantly by country of citizenship. In 1995, Mexicans were the only group for which unlawful entry was the dominant offense. Colombians were the only group for which drug trafficking was the dominant offense and for which a substantial share were convicted of money laundering. Nigerians were the only group for which fraud constituted a major offense.
There's more there. . .
