I'll let the scientist from MIT do the talking:
Recently many people have said that the earth is facing a crisis requiring urgent action. This statement has nothing to do with science. There is no compelling evidence that the warming trend we've seen will amount to anything close to catastrophe.
The current alarm rests on the false assumption not only that we live in a perfect world, temperaturewise, but also that our warming forecasts for the year 2040 are somehow more reliable than the weatherman's forecast for next week.
Much of the alarm over climate change is based on ignorance of what is normal for weather and climate.
In many other respects, the ill effects of warming are overblown. Sea levels, for example, have been increasing since the end of the last ice age.
Many of the most alarming studies rely on long-range predictions using inherently untrustworthy climate models, similar to those that cannot accurately forecast the weather a week from now.
Moreover, actions taken thus far to reduce emissions have already had negative consequences without improving our ability to adapt to climate change.
So we have liberals who want to say conservatives are hysterical over Muslim extremist and terrorist who, if given the chance, will blow up entire cities with nuclear weapons....but then we are supposed to believe that global warming will destroy the earth in 10 years....what a joke.

I'm not fooled, Game. He's obviously a shill for the evil oil conglomerates. Have a little faith in the almighty Goreacle, for criminy sakes!
Game, if I didn’t know better, after reading the last few post, I’d think you’re trying to point out to hysterical liberals, they are being – well – hysterical.
While you’re at it, you might as well go all out and totally shatter their world view, by making the case that capitalism is not the cause of all the world’s ills.
Game - have a little compassion, stop being such a heartless asshole, and don’t try to force reality into their perceptions, a Lib without illusions is like a fish out of water.
Quoting a guy that teaches at a tech school?
Its not even a real college....right?
Thanks for the heads up. ;-)
Bill Clinton told a group gathered in some other country that the greatest, most imminent threat to the world is Global warming.
Not North Korea building nuclear weapons.
Not Iran building nuclear weapons.
Not terrorism.
Global warming.
Can you believe that guy was President of the United States for 8 years? Can you believe the Democrats still idolize that idiot?
Yes, Mark. Frankly, I can.
Where is Jim telling us that he has never heard any liberal say that global warming was more dangerous than nuclear war?
I don't know. Where is Jim? I won't say that. It may be true. It certainly is debatable.
Global warming has the potential of causing destruction and displacement of large populations over the entire globe. It could have profound effect on agriculture and fishing. Lot's of things.
Fishing!!!???
By God, now they've gone too far!
It's high time we develop something to put an end to this global warming crap. That's right, let's take the fight to the enemy. I propose that all the world join hands, sing kumbyya, develop an interstellar delivery device, load it down with all the worlds nukes and send it straight into the sun. Yaaa that’s the ticket! We’re pissed and we won’t take it no more!
According to one of its advocates, Global Warming Scam is all about “A Big Chunk of 17 Trillion Dollars” quoted here by one of its architects as shown in the attached introductory video.

Follow the links at Geo Karras .Org to get the power point presentation that details the personnel and financial arrangers of Al Gore’s movie—BP and Exxon just to name two.
And understand the financials of Co2 regulation and carbon trading to understand why, and how the scam fits into globalization.
