Okay,
if Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton had jobs, they should be fired...
all the faculty who signed that letter at Duke should be fired...
We will see where the racism is in America on this one

NBC and CBS didn't like his language - please... it was his advertisers that didn't like the heat. Now NBC and CBS, since your excuse was his language, don't be apealing to our young people by promoting that degrating rap crap. We'll all be watching. Oh, anyone that ever really listened to the I-Man, knows he is a soft-hearted fellow.
It was a modern day lynching, really it was!
Wow, I HAD to stop again for this event. It looks like everyone has a decent grasp. Imus has the right to say what he wants. The advertisers have the right to pull their funding if they dont like it(or are pressured by good old capitalism), and CBS has the right to fire him. The hypocrisy is in Jesse 'Hymietown' Jackson, and Al 'Bloodsucking Jews' Sharpton turning their blind eye to all the fascism and bigotry in their own cultures.
Good to see you figured it out...
now all we need are the liberals to throw out the race card and be wrong again
no comments from the liberals...maybe because they know how wrong they are...wait, no they don't
I thought about this. I kinda went both ways. Then Jib clarified it for me.
In affect, he works at the pleasure of his bosses. He can say whatever he wants, and if his boss has an anyurism about what he says - manufactured or not - you are gone. Think of the *cough* dixie chicks. They had the right to say it, even if it sucked.
Imus eff'ed himself when he started genuflecting in front of race-baiting putzes like Al-sharpton....and doing non-stop apologies. ugh.
and by the way, game.
thanks for changing the poll...i got tired of getting florida right every time. lol ;-P
They should not have fired Imus for this. They should have fired him for his body of work.
Well done Ron, can't say it much better...
Sure you could have, Game. If you left out the gratuitous "Rush" reference, you would've said it better just for that. I don't know who "bort" is, and if by "weinersavage" Ron is referring to Michael Savage, well, I don't like that dude either. But I've never heard Rush say anything that comes close to the crap that Imus is accused of saying, nor have I heard anything that should generate a call for his dismissal, other than the fact that libs can't handle the truth, so they want him gone. I don't even listen to Rush all that much anymore (due to other center-right options available--change of pace, you know), but he doesn't belong in the same sentence with the people Ron listed.
Marshall, Bort is Neil Bortz, a well known Libertarian broadcaster.
Ron, you were very Liberal in your shotgun criticism. While you hit some points your were inaccurate in others.
Can you criticize Stuart Smalley, Randi Rhodes, Sam Seder, and the other liars and bomb throwers on the left? Can you, Ron???
