Riverwest, east side stung by 23 robberies

Someone said on this blog yesterday that "Things are getting better"
I contest that their are more and more people that have ZERO clue at all.
Why are we surprised kids bring loaded guns to school?
Why are we surprised parents come to school to beat up kids?
Why are we surprised when someone is killed in broad day light?
Why are we surprised when someone walks into a house in a "good" neighborhood and robs them?
Why?
We think as members of a society, we think with some form of right and wrong.
There are more and more people who have NO, ZERO, NADA concept of living in functioning society. They don't care to be productive, they literally do whatever they want....

Getting better???? As I look at and smell the garbage and see the dumpsters ten yards from my house due to the new neighbor next door,I
DON'T SEE how thing are getting better. Call sanitation? I have three times. Said it is not illegal
to have dumpsters there, they just have to be closed,no trash on the ground. With lids open, and trash on the grass I see how they checked out my concerns.Call your alderman?? MADE FOUR CALLS TO THE OFFICE,and finally talked to his aide.(never had a tape message call
returned)The aide let me know how trivial my complaint is compared to the districts REAL problems, and
the sanitation office has my complaint.So--I called the alderman
at home--he listened, said he would get back to me---two weeks later I'm still waiting for his return call! Can't wait for eighty degrees and a south wind to start smelling the garbage.Things getting better in beertown??? NOT!!
