Rutgers Team Angry but Will Meet Imus

Imus is a moron...period...
But this proves, as I have always said, the greatest crime you can commit in this PC world is to hurt someones feelings...
And why is this story so exciting?
Michael McGee says racist things just about every single day on his radio show, why isn't he suspended?
SIMPLE answer: McGee is black, Imus is white....end of story.

So everyone who is soooooo man...get mad at all the racist rap songs, get mad at McGee...then we will know you really mean it.

Wow, the Imus thing is just crazy. I personally have mixed feelings about it. If any of you care to read it, one of our writers over at Highbrid Nation worked with Imus over at WFAN for several years and recently chimed in on the whole situation. He also reveals some details that the media is failing to report on in regards to the suspension

What little I know of the guy leaves much to be desired. But what is pissing people off? The use of the descriptive "nappy headed" or the commonly used colloquialism "ho"? Isn't "nappy" a mere description of the typical hair atop the heads of our ebony brothers and sisters? Didn't Stevie Wonder use the term in song?

"Lookin' back on when I
Was a little nappy headed boy,
When my only worry
Was for Christmas, what would be my toy."

As for "ho", isn't that what all the hip young kids say these days? I wonder how different the reaction be if Imus said, "Like those hip-hop dudes would say, 'Them are some nappy headed ho's.'"? He certainly was parroting the semantics of the hip-hop youth culture. An idiot move, but really...
