Congress OKs Billions for the Iraq War

Man, you liberals have to be very upset right now...your party selling you out again...
How can they vote to fund an unjust war run terribly by an legitimate President?
Hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis killed during our evil war. Who are the REAL terrorist in Iraq, huh?
Liberals, you support GWB more than anyone, your people voted to keep it going without any time tables...

The congressional and senate liberals voted against the bill.

Jim--

I complement the Democrats on finally accomplishing something in Congress. The war spending passed 80-14 in the Senate, and 280-142 in the House.

Keep up the good work!

lol...you only have 18 liberals in the Senate...ha ha ha...
Yes, it only took you 5 months to get something done...and it was something for GW!!!!
Man, Dem's are just bad at everything

Well, game, if the Democrats insist on surrendering, I'd rather have the Democrats surrender to the Republican minority all of the time than al-Queda, to be honest.

:)

The icing on the cake is several presidential candidates didn't support the troops, which will make excellent campaign material in 2008. It will be like Kerry in 2004 all over again. You see, Clinton and Obama supported the troops before they were against them!

I'm not pleased that this bill passed, and I'm not pleased with those Democrats or Republics that voted for it. But the Democrats did not surrender to the Republic minority. They surrendered to the president because Republics still support the incompetent president instead of voting to support the troops. They could never get a veto-proof majority.

And Clinton and Obama don't have to worry about your support the troops meme. Everybody knows that's a false premise and that it is the administration that does more to harm the military and the troops than any Democrat will ever be able to do.

Jim--

The bill passed 80-14 in the Senate, and 280-142 in the House. And the Democracies (I'll talk like a sped like you) have majorities in both chambers, and can filibuster anything they want. Hell, they obstruct everything else.

I'm giving the Democracies a round of applause for supporting Bush, America, and our troops! I appreciate it!

Hear, hear! But I suspect the Dems worry about the impact of constantly preventing financial support to the troops. How will it go over with the voters? Will they think we don't care about the troops? What if the troops suffer terribly as a result of holding up the expenditures? The public will hang us!! Let's just do it and find another way to fuck Bush!
