Playing the race/gender card, are ya? I think I can speak for all my center-right compadres that color and tits have nothing to do with our selection for the highest office in the land. In fact, if Halle Berry was a conservative candidate, she'd have my vote absolutely. I'd be glued to her press conferences! (Of course, she'd have to match my idea of the best candidate available.)
marshall, I'm going to have to give jay the benefit of doubt. I don't think he necessarily "hopes" it looks "that" way, he's just been conditioned to believe the worst.
I didn't think you played those cards Jay. I honestly, not for ONE SECOND thought that when I read that...you are in MPS, and the entire lifeblood of everyone around you is the race, blame and victim cards, so I guess I understand why you go to that right away...however, I don't think like that...
So tell us all about Fred Thompson's stellar record. Let's hear what he has done and why he is such a great candidate. Why would he be a good president?
What I like about Fred Dalton Thompson is based on what he has written, along with what I have seen on Youtube. Thompson understands our republic's security commitments, the Constitution, and the principles of economics. That's all I can ask for. Thompson is certainly more experienced than Edwards and Obama, and more philosophical than the shrill opportunism exhibited by Hillary Clinton.
Jim and Jay show that most liberals love to divide people based on race, sex and age...that is the only way they can think... Then, in about a month, there will be a story where liberals will be dividing by race, sex and age, and Jim will say that he never thinks like that... Here he is again showing what a bad memory he has...
We will vote for anyone who would be a good choice,no matter the race or the sex of the individual. Oh No Obama and Horrid Hillary are not in the list of individuals who would be even adequate choices to be competent presidents.
Who's "we", Scorpion? You and the frog in your pocket? Obama and Clinton have been leading the Dem pack most of the way. So, though you and Kermit might have someone else in mind, at this stage of the game, most of the left is split between these two.

Thompson-Hunter '08 has a nice ring to it. The Republican Party is not beyond Fredemption. And, of course, better Fred than red.
Because, goodness knows, we can't vote for a black man or a woman!
(I know that's not necessarily your intent, but that's what it looks like.)
"Fredemption"!!! I like it!
Jay B.

One more thing Jay,
It does NOT look that way. You just hope it does. Shame on you.

And if you don't think the graphic alludes to race or gender, why aren't Edwards or Biden or Richardson on it?
because Obama and Hillary are the front runners.
Jeez
you people just can't give up on your conditioned responses can you?
Jim--

Won't it be the liberals who are racist and sexist when the vote for someone simply BECAUSE they are a woman or black?

Hey, you're not waiting for AlGore, are ya?
eegads! Nooo, Nooo, we don't want a "authority" figure for president, that would be disastrous!
What we need is someone who would never be considered an authority figure, like say a Jimmy Carter, since that worked out so well the first time.
Hey, Carter only served one term, he can run for office again!
"Hey, Carter only served one term, he can run for office again!"
I just got a cramp.
