IF the Immigration bill really secured the border, I would be for it.
You have to understand that we have already screwed up by letting in these 12 million people illegally.
I think it is more important to STOP doing a bad job at securing our border and STOP more illegals from coming.
The last amnesty bill SAID it would secure the border, and it didn't. It just let 12 million more illegals in.
Bush signed a bill two years ago saying we would build 700 miles of fence. So far they have less than 10% of that done.
SECURE THE BORDER, then deal with all the law breakers and the destruction of our health care system, social services and public schools.

There are too many soft headed liberals who are working for open borders and amnesty. I don't think people will get fed up for 5 to 10 years, then all hell will break loose. Democrat pols how back open borders and amnesty will be BLOWN out of office. The country club GOP will also be gone.
It is time to lock up all the law breakers. You commit a crime in the US while being here illegally, you get locked up for the maximum with no parole or transfer to your home country. You kill in the US, you get the death penalty. That is the only way to handle it now.

Wrong. It is the right, working in conjunction with corporate interests, that have ensured that mass importation of illegal immigrants for cheap labor will continue.
