With all the crap that people watch, everyone should be watching one of the best shows in the history of television.
Comment on the Sopranos, talk about what you think are the best TV shows now, or ever.
Sopranos was an awesome show, slowed down at the end of last season and this season, but has been great the last 4 weeks.
It changed the way sitcoms are made on network TV.
Without Sopranos you probably would have never gotten 24.
It seems like the only good network show right now is "House."
It is the number one "regular" show every week and most people I know don't watch it. However, they watch crap like American Idol...makes me wonder.
Best show ever...Seinfeld

Game,
The best Television show ever is a subjsctive opinion. It is both dependent on the taste of the viewer and their age.
My best and not in order of what I think is the best.
M*A*S*H
Gunsmoke
The Cosby Show
The Red Skelton Show
Ironside
Perry Mason
Dr. Who
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Victory At Sea
of course it is...it is your opinion, and sometimes it is interesting to hear people's opinion...
Now,
I think I know what will happen with the Sopranos this Sunday...(I am making this up, but it would be awesome...)
The arabs that they have been trying to find commit some terrorist attack or are about to...Tony and Phil find out about it and are offered immunity if they can stop/get rid of the terrorists...And in the end they do...
I have never watched the Sopranos.
Best show ever?
That's tough, because for the most part television really, really sux, No, really!
But, there are a few gems out there.
I guess out of the current shows, I like:
Dramas/Action - Shield! and House (I never saw the first few episodes of 24 or Sopranos & figured I had missed too much)
Comedy - Man, there used to be a good selection of decent comedy on TV, not any more. But, I still laugh my ass off just about every time I catch an episode of "South Park" - It might be twisted shit but it's funny shit.
RED SKELTON?!?!?! Good gosh, I used to love his show.
I would need to review a list of TV shows from about 1959 to the present. Just titles would be fine, I'd remember the ones I liked. I remember a show called Yancy Dillinger or Derringer that my dad liked. We were both into Combat, with Vic Morrow. I remember the graphic of the title had a bayonet for an exclamation point. But here's a short list of those I liked. Faves would be impossible:
Twighlight Zone
Have Gun, Will Travel
The Rebel
Wanted: Dead or Alive
Rawhide
Bonanza (Lots of westerns here)
The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.
(Lots of pop culture references)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Angel
All In The Family (Great fun even though it was over the top lib)
Wings
Cheers
Dick Van Dyke
Ed Sullivan
Star Trek (and most of the spin offs)
Simpsons
Rocky and Bullwinkle (It's better now than when I was a kid)
The Life and Loves of Dobie Gillis
See what I mean? There are many I haven't even remembered. All time favorites would simply be impossible.
