What the Dem's see as important...

At the conclusion of the two-hour debate, the candidates were asked what their top priority would be for their first 100 days in office:
—Edwards: "travel the world" and "re-establish America's moral authority." So he's going to go on a trip...what a silly answer
—Clinton: bring home U.S. troops from Iraq. Make sure liberals keep their batting average perfect in regards to making the US lose wars...
Obama: bring home U.S. troops and push for national health care. Make us lose a war and any chance at good health care
—New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson: upgrade U.S. schools and push a $40,000-a-year minimum wage for teachers. The greatest answer I have ever heard in my life...if he made it and I didn't like the Republican I would vote for him
—Delaware Sen. Joe Biden: end the war in Iraq and defuse tensions with Iran and North Korea. Here ya go...Jim likes to say liberals don't ever say they want to talk and reason with terrorist...what the hell do you call that...this quote will be forgotten or misinterpreted by Jim in 5 seconds
—Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich: help "reshape the world for peace" and end all nuclear weapons. Does he have a stand up act...Actually, I'm not sure if that is the funniest thing I have ever heard or saddest. Look, that SOUNDS great, and it would be great...but like ALL liberal ideas and programs, they SOUND great and NEVER work in the real world
—Former Alaska Sen. Mike Gravel: Remind Congressional leaders they can end the war in Iraq now. Yada Yada Yada
—Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd: "Restore constitutional rights in this country." Give rights to terrorists like Jay wants to do with his buddies at the ACLU

I was surprised how the Democrats were ultra-sensitive about disagreeing with each other tonight. With the exception of Mike Gravel, and perhaps Joe Biden on the Sudan issue, everyone was afraid to make a judgment. "We agree, really, and share the same values, but my beliefs are different on this nuance blah blah blah."

In short, the Democrats and their audience showed they are weak people lacking in confidence who believe that being liked by others is not only moral authority, but their standard of what is real. Consensus is truth to these people.

Don't believe me? Democrats believe the group is responsible for everything and the individual is responsible for nothing. They don't want you in charge of your economic decisions, they want courts in charge of states and localities, and they want the U.N. to determine how America should implement its foreign policy. It isn't an accident that those who are afraid to stand on individual judgment have so much distrust of individual citizens.

Bill Richardson is a jackass by the way. Constitutionally education should be strictly a state issue. Conservatives really need to get back to basics about the proper role of government and the intent of the founders.

Edwards: Why is that silly?

Clinton: The US won the war 4 years ago.

Obama: You happy with your health care and how much it's costing you?

Richardson: well-qualified

Biden: Wrong. Iran and North Korea are not terrorists. They are sovereign states with economic interests. Even the Bush administration is insisting that diplomacy is the right way to go with Iran and North Korea. Or are you a Cheney kind of guy?

Kucinich: Well, Kucinich is out there all by himself and deservedly so. Nobody supports him, so give it up.

Gravel: Nobody.

Dodd: A man with a good head and heart but no support.

even though the liberal media wants to focus on pills being two cents in Canada, they never talk about how when people have actual problems, like need surgery, they try and sneak into the US...
Our health care system is in really bad shape, I have no idea how to fix it, but I do know the ONE way not to fix it, and that is letting the govt take it over...

Edwards: Silly because tax-payer supported field trips to spread happy talk will do little to imress anybody. Doing the right thing establishes moral authority, not doing what pleases the neighbors. If doing the right thing pisses off the neighbors, they're not good neighbors.

Clinton: A battle was won, not the war. Jeez.

Obama: Making it more expensive, with less effeciency is not better than expensive. Allowing market forces, supply and demand, improves both as well as quality.

Richardson: See Jason's remarks. Mandated pay scale? Bad idea.

Biden: Doesn't mention what will be said or done to defuse tensions. Will knee pads be employed? Dictate to dictators, don't negotiate.

Kucinich: He's running, ain't he? One more moonbat candidate worthy of mockery.

Gravel: See "Kucinich".

Dodd: Good head? How so? Restore Consitutional rights? Which ones have YOU lost?
