I'm not even going to comment on this specific even due to its stupidity, however...
1. Democrats love to comment that we have not caught bin laden...will leaving the middle east capture him?
2. There are a few reports saying that terror groups are getting stronger (in places we are not like Iran and Pakistan). So, running away and looking like scared children makes them weaker, liberals?
Please remember this, even if you don't like some things GWB has done, he has done many, many things correctly to keep us safe. And also remember, if a Democrat gets in the White House, those things will be taken away. This is no joke, we need people in charge who understand how to keep us safe. Bush has done that now for 6 years. You can say he didn't stop 9-11, and you are right. I don't think anyone understood the threat of Muslim terrorist at the time. However, since that time the United States govt has done some great things that have worked, and with Democrats in charge, those things would have never been done.
With a Dem in the White House:
We would have to worry about terrorist feelings and "constitutional" rights in regard to detainment and spying. As long as Republicans are in charge, spy all you want on terrorist, I am not doing anything wrong, I could care less.

1) Uh, we already know that the Bush Crime Family are great buddy-buddies with the bin Ladens, to a point where the favorite brother and other cohorts were FLOWN OUT the day after 9/11....
We know perfectly well there was never any intention to kill bin Laden. In fact, his life was deliberately spared by the administration on at least one occasion.
2) Well, it might spare the lives of the soldiers you pretend to be so concerned over, which means you most certainly would not support it (they might actually TALK about some of the Republican military's more uncomfortable actions...)
Yes, we realize that, to a neocon, how we LOOK is more important than the reality on the ground...
"Please remember this, even if you don't like some things GWB has done, he has done many, many things correctly to keep us safe."
HA! Don't make me vomit...
"This is no joke, we need people in charge who understand how to keep us safe."
That's pretty funny, especially since we've never been more unsafe under the Bush Crime Family, and the 9/11 occurrences happened on the Dim Son's watch...
"I don't think anyone understood the threat of Muslim terrorist at the time."
He should have, but he was too busy "listening to his Higher Father" then he was interested in reading his Presidential briefings, and listening to his advisors...
"However, since that time the United States govt has done some great things that have worked..."
You need to stop telling lies.
NOT ONE POSITIVE THING has been done in this country since 9/11.
"...and with Democrats in charge, those things would have never been done."
Holy Mary, Mother Of God, Blessed we would have been....
"We would have to worry about terrorist feelings and "constitutional" rights in regard to detainment and spying."
Well, constitutional rights are important to most Americans, not neocons. That's why impeachment was mentioned six times...(because the founding fathers intended us to USE it...yet neither God nor terrorism was mentioned once.
"...spy all you want on terrorist, I am not doing anything wrong, I could care less..."
What a backward, regressive, and absolutely morally irreprehensible mentality.
If this is the way your mind processes such concepts (or if it is a matter of having been so easily brainwashed by your handlers), you have absolutely NO business teaching or being anywhere NEAR young minds in development, no matter how benighted or neglected the school district may be.
po
That is some hard core crazy hash...
How many times did Clinton turn down Bin Laden?
and I am talking about what is happening HERE...and HERE, things are great and only Conservatives can keep it that way...
Man, there is so much stupid crap in your response I'll just stop and go to work...
Blame Clinton!
Please remember that it's not a debate; it's a Republican filibuster.
I guess it's the "parlimentary procedure that dare not speak its name", at least according to your so-called "liberal" media.
"How many times did Clinton turn down Bin Laden? "
Way to recycle those discredited right wing talking points.
On the other hand, Bush 'called off special forces attack on al-Qa'eda'
Democrats love to comment that we have not caught bin laden...will leaving the middle east capture him?
Nice strawman, Game. Nobody is saying 'leave the middle east'.
There are a few reports No, there are LOTS of reports saying that terror groups are getting stronger (in places we are not like Iran and Pakistan) and Afghanistan. So, running away and looking like scared children makes them weaker, liberals?
So now we see the neocon's main goal isn't the intelligent use of force to stop terrorists. Their goal is to use the might of the United States to convince the world that they are brave and powerful warriors, lest anyone see them for the frightened little children that, deep down, they know that they really are.
he has done many, many things correctly to keep us safe.
Like gutting security requirements for chemical plants and nuclear power plants?
Or like how there's STILL no unified terrorist watch list?
Or how he cut the funding for first responders by $617 Million?
Or how he cut dedicated grants used by public transportation systems to increase security?
Or how he closed the CIA unit focused on capture of bin Laden?
[sarcasm]Yeah, he really did a great job![/sarcasm]
I don't think anyone understood the threat of Muslim terrorist at the time.
from the 9/11 report:
"[White House Terrorism Advisor Richard] Clarke hoped the August 1998 missile strikes [launched by the Clinton administration against Bin Ladin camps in Afghanistan] would mark the beginning of a sustained campaign against Bin Ladin. Clarke was, as he later admitted, "obsessed" with Bin Ladin, and the [August 1998] embassy bombings [in Kenya and Tanzania] gave him new scope for pursuing his obsession. Terrorism had moved high up among the President's concerns, and Clarke's position had elevated accordingly."
We would have to worry about terrorist feelings Another strawman- That's bullshit and you know it. and "constitutional" rights I know you authoritarian cultists can't understand this, but America is a nation of laws, not men. We hold the Constitution sacred above all else. The only way that the terrorists can win is if we let them change who we are as a nation due to our (your) fear.
If we start violating constitutional rights of our citizens to fight terrorism, soon we will be violating constitutional rights to fight pedophiles, then organized crime & drug crime, then political opposition. Look at how RICO has been expanded.
As long as Republicans are in charge, spy all you want on terrorist, I am not doing anything wrong, I could care less.
That is a truly ignorant, unAmerican mindset.
How about a REAL example of media bias:
ROBIN ROBERTS (co-host): It's going to be a long day on Capitol Hill.
SAWYER: It certainly is. Senators facing an all-nighter now as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid vows to filibuster, talking all night to close out all topics besides a vote on Iraqi troop withdrawals
How about that? After taking every opportunity to paint the Democrats as obstructionist whenever they would filibuster, now that the shoe is on the other foot and the republicans are being obstructionist, the so called liberal media reports that it's DEMOCRATS that are filibustering.
That's some real bias for you.
Dems filibustered when Republicans were trying to get something done like confirm judges...
Yeah - and "filibuster" was what the so-called liberal media called it.
Now, the Republicans are doing the exact same thing - and suddenly it's a "parlimentary proceedure." Suddenly it's Republicans "demanding 60 votes." Suddenly it's anything but the F-Word.
Your "liberal" media at work - endlessly spinning every event into maximum advantage for Republicans.
Let me make this simple for you...
Dems pulled a political stunt to draw attention to themselves...this is a one time deal. And I have seen many stories saying that Dems are trying to block the Republican filibuster...
So these stories are about the one day, one time deal of Dems looking stupid all night long...
The stories of Dems doing it are of years of filibustering hundreds of judges...I know you might not be able to see the difference, but you guys can't understand very simple, easy to understand examples all the time, so why should you start now.
In Game's world, understand=meet his point of view. I wonder if that's the dictionary definition.....
So, Game, what you are explicitly saying is that "it's OK if you're a Republican"
These are different issues totally...You guys were blocking judges that were given high marks from everyone except the political hacks in the Senate...
Republicans are trying to stop Dems from putting another notch in the loser column...
Blame Carter!
Hahaha! Looks like you have visitors from the Lefty loony asylum, Game. When babysitting these guys, just consider yourself doing the work that illegal aliens won't do. They can't speak English, or moonbat, for that matter.
hashfanatic, what a name, and after reading the dog vomit you just regurgitated, quite fitting. Well, at least you gave thought to your choice of a nick. That's about the only original thought in your screed.
Game, you must be doing something right, or these attack dogs from Kos wouldn't be over here. Keep up the good work.
Well, templar, on the up side, you could always be killed in an interstate pileup or something....
realism, I was about to mention that you must enjoy irony, but after reading your comments am now convinced you take yourself seriously. You actually believe the drivil you post. Pathetic, really.
I suppose you and the hash addict are a twosome as well. Birds of a feather flock together...etc. A couple of moonbats surfing the interwebs side-by-side in the man cave known as mommie's basement, no doubt. Oh, well, it takes all kinds, I suppose, but you boys stretch that theory. Oh, yeah, don't spill the Cheetos.
hashfanatic, I just can't get over that name. I suppose you expect to be taken seriously, I don't know, but your choice of an illegal drug as your nick precludes my doing so.
In any event, thanks for the kind thoughts. It always makes me feel good to see a liberal revert to their true, hateful nature. And it's good for everyone else to see as well.
Maybe because the name has nothing to do with drugs?
DIAF.
You're showing your ignorance, Game. Surprise!
The Republics blocked 60 of Clinton's judicial nominations from getting an up or down vote.
A filibuster is a filibuster is a filibuster is a filibuster.
Maybe because the name has nothing to do with drugs?
Oh, really? I didn't want to say anything but I totally assumed it was drugs.
But now I'm really curious. Are you a C++ programmer?
So, Templar, I suppose you chose your moniker to symbolize your passion for buggery?
BTW, it's spelled "drivel", moron. Obviously your subpar intelligence makes it difficult to add anything of value to the debate, so you are forced to hurl insults like a primate throwing feces. I really don't mind. If that's what makes you feel less impotent, we are all secure enough to handle it.
But I especially love how you swung by to defecate on our debate and insult us, and then have the nerve to label us "hateful" for expressing our opinions about your idiocy.
One last thing - next time you show up to a battle of wits, don't come unarmed. You look foolish.
"swung by to defecate on our debate..."
Debate, you say. I saw no debate, nothing but idiot liberals wasting oxygen. You didn't come here to debate, anyway.
And as for my misspelled word, that's all you have? Good.
Here's your buddy, hashfanatic, and I quote, "He should have, but he was too busy 'listening to his Higher Father' then he was interested in reading his....
Uh-oh, misspelled word, or word used improperly. The proper word to use would be "than". Your bud either used the wrong tense or misspelled the word itself.
Now, if you're not a hypocrite, you need to tell him how stupid he is. Be consistent, now, or you will show your true colors.
I eagerly await your response.
The difference, not that I'd expect someone with your sub par thinking skills to understand, is that you were insulting the intelligence of someone evidently much smarter than you when you displayed your own lack of education by misspelling a simple word. He was not.
Debate, you say. I saw no debate, nothing but idiot liberals wasting oxygen. You didn't come here to debate, anyway.
So, in my first comment, when I went through Game's comment section by section and responded to each point in turn by citing sources and using logic to disagree...That's not debate? You probably just don't know the meaning of the word. Let me enlighten you:
de·bate(d-bt)
v. de·bat·ed, de·bat·ing, de·bates
v.intr.
1. To consider something; deliberate.
2. To engage in argument by discussing opposing points.
3. To engage in a formal discussion or argument. See Synonyms at discuss.
4. Obsolete To fight or quarrel.
Remedial English lessons offered at no charge.
By the way, you don't waste oxygen by typing. I mean, it's not like we are literally yelling at each other.
Honestly, though, do you really have nothing to add to the discussion? Are you that devoid of intellect and political awareness that all you can do is call people names? Perhaps it's just your way of working through the frustration of your humiliating low-wage job, your overbearing mother, incestuous uncle, impotence, or whatever it is that makes you such a weak minded, pathetic little troll.
Like I said before, we are strong enough to let you vent on us. It is a welcome comic relief, now that PCD has been "gracing" us with his presence less frequently.
I will assume by your lack of response that your moniker does reflect your love of buggery, though.
templar...welcome...see the crap I have to put up with here...
Templar-
By "crap" he means "seeing my weak arguments blown out of the water daily by jay, jim, hashfanatic, chet and realism"
Hmm...don't really know where to start, but here goes.
1. I didn't insult anyone's intelligence, I insulted their judgment. So you are wrong. The hypocrite moniker sticks. Because if all you have is one misspelled word, you have nothing.
2. Did Clinton turn down an offer from the Sudan to take OBL? Why, yes, he did. Fact. So the 'drivel' you posted about " discredited right wing talking points" is just that, drivel.
3. The article you linked didn't even mention OBL. What's up with that? It did mention that Zawahiri "may", that's "may" have escaped. So your response to "the game" was disingenuous, at best. He specifically mentioned OBL.
4. I assumed you were breathing while typing, but after reading your bullshit, I suppose you might try to pass yourself off as some kind of zombie, or something. Forgive me.
5. "...your love of buggery." My, my, I see your tolerance is showing. Better be careful, your boyfriend might get jealous, you coming on to strangers you meet on the interwebs.
6. "...your humiliating low-wage job, your overbearing mother, incestuous uncle, impotence, or whatever...."
In other words, your response is "nah-nah na boo boo".
That's about what I would expect from a juvenile.
Thanks for the welcome, the game. I think I'll stick around for a while, since it seems I'm not a troll after all, according to the owner of the blog. And that is the opinion that counts, not the chatter of a few juveniles.
1. I didn't insult anyone's intelligence, I insulted their judgment.
driv·el
to talk childishly or idiotically.
Archaic. to issue like spittle.
to utter childishly or idiotically.
to waste foolishly.
Once again, remedial English lessions are provided at no charge.
2. Did Clinton turn down an offer from the Sudan to take OBL? Why, yes, he did. Fact. So the 'drivel' you posted about " discredited right wing talking points" is just that, drivel.
"These contacts with Sudan, which went on for years, have become a source of
controversy. Former Sudanese officials claim that Sudan offered to expel Bin Ladin to
the United States. Clinton administration officials deny ever receiving such an offer. We
have not found any reliable evidence to support the Sudanese claim."

3. The article you linked didn't even mention OBL. What's up with that? It did mention that Zawahiri "may", that's "may" have escaped. So your response to "the game" was disingenuous, at best. He specifically mentioned OBL.
Fair enough. Here:
"The Central Intelligence Agency has closed a unit that for a decade had the mission of hunting Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenants, The New York Times reported in its Tuesday edition.
The unit, known as Alec Station, was disbanded late last year and its analysts reassigned within the CIA Counterterrorist Center, the officials told the paper." http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13699308/
Is that specific enough to bin Laden for you?
4. I assumed you were breathing while typing, but after reading your bullshit, I suppose you might try to pass yourself off as some kind of zombie, or something. Forgive me.
Don't backpedal. You said "I saw no debate, nothing but idiot liberals wasting oxygen.". First of all, you didn't "see" me at all. Secondly, I would still be breathing if I was doing something other than debunking republican bullshit. Are you saying that my existence is a "wasting oxygen"? I know that authoritarian cultists like you would love to see everyone who disagrees with them killed, but I can't really see that happening, seeing as how the rest of our country is finally catching on to your bullshit.
5. "...your love of buggery." My, my, I see your tolerance is showing. Better be careful, your boyfriend might get jealous, you coming on to strangers you meet on the interwebs.
Hey, Templar, I have no problem at all with your love of getting buggered. I was just asking. BTW, you can stop the flirting. I'm happily married. To a woman. And unlike your political representatives, that means that I don't like to go out trolling for anonymous sex with prostitutes.
6. "...your humiliating low-wage job, your overbearing mother, incestuous uncle, impotence, or whatever...."
In other words, your response is "nah-nah na boo boo".
Hey, I was just speculating on the forces that created your demented worldview. I can't see it as being worse than "A couple of moonbats surfing the interwebs side-by-side in the man cave known as mommie's basement, no doubt. Oh, well, it takes all kinds, I suppose, but you boys stretch that theory. Oh, yeah, don't spill the Cheetos. " or "Looks like you have visitors from the Lefty loony asylum, Game."
