Universal health care

In Wisconsin, Democrats want to increase the taxes on business with an additional 15% payroll tax on every employee.

Now, Democrats think with their hearts and not with their brains...so you get stuff like this:

"I need to do everything I can to make sure that every person in the state of Wisconsin has access to the same benefits that I have, as a legislator," she said.

Yes I know, it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. We will take care of everyone!!!

Many, many problems with this.
Its fine for a big employer who already had good health insurance. Most employees probably participate in the health insurance already...so this tax might actually save them money.
HOWEVER...
it hurts just about everyone else.
Say you have a household where both parents work, and they take the better plan of the two. The second company does not have to pay ANYTHING for that persons insurance. This is usually small business and new companies who have worse coverage. But now, they are FORCED to pay over 13% of that persons salary to this coverage....meaning this company will have to fire workers or go out of business completely.

Liberals don't think of that...they want everyone to have insurance, but they don't realize that they will force many people out of a job and other business to leave the state where they don't have to pay this.

Think of the fastest growing big city in the USA...Las Vegas. Why are they the fastest growing?
Because they have low taxes.
Low taxes equals more jobs and new business moving there...
More people move there, everyone has a job, more business comes...
Then look at states with high taxes....and high poverty as well.
As usual, the liberal plan is full of good intention and emotion...and then hurts the people it is trying to help.
