Man convicted of double voting

If you read this story, you will see why Wisconsin needs to change its voting requirements.
You should not be able register to vote ON election day. I think this is how most of the people who end up getting caught commit voter fraud.
Also, you need to show an ID. Voting is important enough that if someone is so damn irresponsible they do not have an ID, they don't get to vote. Wisconsin has tried to pass voter ID bills, but Dem's think that poor people and minorities are somehow to stupid and irresponsible to have ID's (even though the law would give ID's away for free).
Jim will come on here and say an ID would not have stopped this crime. No, most vote fraud is not caught because the person whose identity was stolen never knows.
Getting rid of same day registration would take care of the rest.

Voting fraud is a horrible sin, as is election fraud.

A question for Game:

If you were forced to choose, would you rather :

A. allow x number of fraudulent votes and have all legitimate ones counted, or

B. deny x number of legitimate votes, but stop all fraudulent ones?

B...because there doesn't have to be ONE person who can't vote. It goes back to personal responsibility and making choices. If you are so irresponsible that you are not registered on election day, then you don't care enough to vote. If you don't have a photo ID, you really don't care about being a productive human being, and you don't care enough about much, so you don't need to vote either.

Anyone who wants to vote can vote...under you plan "B", people who want to vote illegally can't.

Wait! So, game, you're saying that people who steal other people's identities do it to commit voter fraud? That's what you're saying.

Sorry, that's absurd.

A lot of the whining over voter fraud has no basis in reality, and is done simply to cover up the rampant election fraud in the last two elections (and Republican complicity in it)....

Nevertheless, it is all a sin.

I have told you this before. Democrats go to the election poll places at 7pm. They see who has not voted (public record). They go to the ghetto and pay people 5 to 10 bucks to get on a bus and vote right before polls close for people they know will not vote. Why are inner city polling places always over-crowded right before the polls close?
I keep giving facts on voter fraud, and how to fix it.
Why do liberals like voter fraud?
Why do you not want to end it?

"Why do liberals like voter fraud?"

Check out JSOnline. Mr. Zore, the fraudulant voter, is a conservative.

Nice story. Where did you pick it up from?

Why are inner city polling places always over-crowded right before the polls close?

Because they just got off work, duh!

I keep giving facts on voter fraud, and how to fix it.

What facts? What is your source?

Why do liberals like voter fraud?

I don't know. Why to wingnuts think disenfranchising voters is just fine?

Why do you not want to end it?

Who says I don't? I just don't think it is as rampant a problem as election fraud is.

In Chicago, dead people vote Democratic. People with no sense do as well.

In Seattle, the King County Democrats were convicted of wholesale vote fraud, but the election was not over turned. The Judge knew how far he could go and keep his bench.

The Democrats here have no leg to stand on. They fear using the same ID needed to cash a check to be able to vote. It only solidifies the perception that Democrat are ballot box stuffers who fear being voted out of office.

"Voting fraud is a horrible sin, as is election fraud."

vs.

"dead people vote Democratic"

are you really defending injustice MA? If you want an open honest debate on the topic.. you have to acknowledge both sides. Jeesh.. so difficult for you ego-centric cons.

Game, did you not see that this man voted Republican? And that he did so without stealing anyone's identity (i.e., photo ID wouldn't have stopped him)?

See here.

If voter fraud is such a huge problem, then why did Bush appointed USAs refuse to pursue so many cases after the 2006 election? Could it be that most allegations are baseless, and pushed solely for political reasons?

Naahhh!
