In this case, the liberal media does not want people to understand we are in the middle of a holy war against radical Muslim. This is filtering the news. The media, who is supposed to simply report the news, makes sure it is reported in a manner that gets the desired reaction or message across. To the liberal writers, there can't be a war against the West waged by radical Islamic fundamentalists, because they are a religion of peace. Of coures, if anything like that is actually going on, it is because of something GWB or another Republican did.

Bob Filner, the San Diego representative who got into an altercation with an airport security official really must have a great press staff. At least he'd have to if he were a Republican since almost no GOPer could ever get CNN to omit his party affiliation from a news report.

Another form of media bias...the way you label someone. At times, Dems will not be reported or identified as Dems, and liberal groups will be called moderate or mainstream. I have explained this many times before. To the 90% of writers who are liberals, being a Democrat is a normal thing and the beliefs are held by most people...so you don't need to single out who they are, they are simply normal everyday people. Now, if you are a conservative or Republican, you need to be identified so people are positive who you are.
